The song reminds me of the sitcom too, heard it on radio 2 the other day, and had just been trying to think which songs I knew by Dolly, I hadn't realised until then, this was her.

lol simon , you must be late 30s early 40s , , nicjholas lydhurst was so skinny then, me and my sister listened to the vinyl one night, she wrote all the words down to this song it took us 4 hours it was so funny lol , but we sang for our mama the next day lol, boss song and boss programme, hehhe
I loved this show. All my family would sit down and watch it together when I was a kid. Since then I've seen it from time to time on UK Gold when I am back in the UK for visits.
I have to agree Simon I was about 12 in Australia when it aired here in 1982. loved the series but pretty much only remember the mini the boys owned and the wife fighting her urge to have the affair and the song which brought me here. It never been repeated here but since we have just gone to digital we have a few new stations and some of the 70s\80s shows have started to be reappearing so heres hoping.

Did you know I saw one in my garden about a month ago! 3 years ago I had the most wonderful experience. It was the first warm summerday. Suddenly, out of the blue there came an Atlanta, it was the first one of the year. In the winter they travel to Afrika. It flapped around and landed for half a second on my cheek! It was a real butterfly kiss! I will never forget it. I never been happier in my whole life throughout all of that day! :D
I've actually had a few "butterflykisses" during THIS summer...don't know weither it's because I've opened my eyes or if it's in fact more of'em this year...they appear - EVERYWHERE!!!
