  • WOOP WOOP! lol its just a wee car, no harm done

  • Okay, everybody critting this video, I'd like to see you get on a massive horse which looks completely capable of going bonkers and jump over a car! so the olympics is higher? Well, DUH! only a few riders are selected from each country and this person obviously isn't a proffesional (no offence intended) so it is quite a feat to do this!

  • me and my horse r competeing soon in short stirrup and im nervous but his position is a lill off he came down on his horses back to early

  • Lol nice leg, obviously needs more work on his position.Willing horse, good thing he didnt scope so high or he would have fallen off.

  • get better position and MAYBE i'll be impressed...

  • i. want. that. horse.

  • its always humorous to me how all you "horse people" decide to show off your "jumping skills"...by criticizing other people's youtube videos.

it makes you "better" to point out that you've jumped bigger(who knows or cares if you really have), it must make you feel almost as good as when you point out that "Olympics is higher".

now THAT makes me beleive that you are a much more successful jumper than me.

NOW all of you haters, go post a video of YOU jumping over a car.

    and it better be PERFECT.

  • Ok, this really isnt that remarkable, because olympic level jumps are way taller than that. I would be more impressed if it were a bigger car. Come on.

  • @CHEVYedsf can you jump a car?

  • @barebackrocks Have I jumped higher? Yes. Have I jumped wider? Yes. But since everyone I know and myself all have lifted trucks, Im not stupid enough to make my horse just over my truck.

  • that horse makes it look easy as!

  • Agreed, you guys looked amazing!

  • That's great, but you should watch your leg position. It goes way towards the horse's back and if the horse were to fall or something, you would go with it.

  • @CHEVYedsf If the horse was to fall.. you'd go with it anyway. And aside from that, even olympic level riders have jumps occasionally where their position isn't 100% and their lower leg goes back.. the dude jumped a car, thats a fair effort, most would struggle to get the guts to go over it, let alone do it looking perfectly stylish.

  • That is pretty amazing

  • why didnt the horses politly ask the car to move

  • God why r so many horse people so stuck up! Who cares about lower leg position just enjoy the sport and the horses!

  • wow talented horse and rider nicely done

  • Horse: 1

    Car: 0

  • WOWOWOOWOWOOW OMG AMAMZINGNNGNG

  • SOME PEOPLE NEED TO GET A LIFE IF I JUMPED THAT WELL TTHE ONLY THING IS I WOULDNT

HOW MANY PEOPLE WOULD SAY THEYD JUMP IT AND NEVER DO IT SO YEAH HE JUMPED IT AND THAT HORSE MADE IT LOOK EASY SO SH!

  • that is a beautiful horse! all the negative comments about this video are a good example of how so many dressage people in large part are stuck up anal retentive asses.

  • I don't know why people say this is dangerous, there are people out there who jump higher than that. and that was pretty cool

  • loved it :) gorgeous horse too

  • Awful lower leg

  • What is this horses name? Breed? Such a nice jumper and mover.!

  • imagine trying to explain THAT when it goes wrong!!!

  • WOW AMAZIN X

  • the scariest XC jump EVER :P

  • yes i think your lower leg was too far back, but doesn't every rider have there bad days!!!

  • HOLY SWINGING LEGGG A BATMANNN.

  • woah..

  • Nice horse :-D

  • lol I have jumped a cross country bush taller and wider than that! it was fun!

  • ughh people say this is dangerous.. what about all of the cross country riders who jump even bigger jumps that are more solid than that car? :$

  • wow that looks pretty big non of the horses i ride could jump that!!

  • There is always a point where the jumps get so high that lower leg becomes a less important factor as long as you stay on... George Morris said so himself

  • r u retarded that is so dangerous!!!!!!!

  • @MsMynameisavatar crossing the road is also dangerous. people do that every day :P

  • omg im in love with ur horse!!!

  • if you were jumping something that big your leg would go back more:L watch the international riders? their legs go back on bigger jumps sometimes! instead of giving stick, do it yourself?

  • Yes, he puts his leg back a lot, but wouldnt you if you were jumping something that big?!

  • wow! loyal horse hes got there!

  • i don't know if i would try that. i wouldn't be able to live with myself if my horse got hurt because i chose to jump a solid object like that. but good job to an awesome rider and an amazing horse. :)

  • god he bounced over it :D

  • The guy was obvs in balance with the horse! and didnt catch him with the spurs at any time! did what he needed to do!

  • that horse did it so easily. i bet he does higher with no prob.

  • He is amazing:) what type of horse is he?

  • how tall is this horse?

  • ... wow, amazing! :D

  • everyones a trainer these days....amazing horse and rider pair jumping over a car...lets see u jump a car with ur horse and judge u....sheesh

  • When jumping at that height the lower leg does come back, there is nothing you can do about it. look at badminton for example and the riders that go round there, they legs are not always in the perfect positoin! The horse and rider cleared it, It was a fab fump, but i personaly would not do this myself.

    Well done!!

  • awesome, nothing wrong with this if you compare to CCI **** jumps

  • that. is. amazing.

  • its maybe a good idear if you dont ride you horse throught a car park, as he may get the wrong idear :)

  • WOW..... COOOOOLLLL! 8)

  • OMG amzing

  • Holly Freaken tall horse!!! Amazing!! I don't think I would even attempt that!!

  • Seriously both horse and rider trust eachother 2 be-able to tackle that.

At end of day look at Badminton and all those x country events u do see the horses jumping very solid obstacles albeit not a car but as solid im sure. Well done!! :)

  • @CarolineMut09 That's NOTHING?! He jumped over a CAR! Use your common sense... REALLY.

  • That horse made it look like it was just jumping over a freakin' log!

  • You guys do this and keep a perfect position and the post the video on youtube please.

  • He kept one leg either side of the horse, that's what matters!

  • Awesomee! Can i use this clip plss??

  • Hey - Impressive! Wonderful teamwork between the horse and rider!

  • OMG AWERSOME!!

  • my trainer did that on acident, her horse spooked and ran between t otrailers then the only pllace to go was over the car

  • @HunterJumpGirl Well that must have been fun. xD

  • @NitrousOxideHi2 I would be scared to death !!!

  • AMAZING BEAUTIFUL HORSE!

  • Easy! All I have to say is "jump Foxtrot jump!" and he jumps it's easy! He can jump 4 very high things [To Me Cuz I'm Short] 1. A car thats 5 feet, 2. Logs stacked together {around 7 feet}, 3. a 5 foot wide jump, 4. A pool thats 8 feet wide. My horse is a beautiful Thoroughbred Stallion thats 12 years old and he has 4 socks and he is a chestnut with a blaze and a flaxen mane. We never went in a competition but we do challenge our friends!

  • i don't understand why people are making such a big deal about his leg, it's a different style of riding, i've seen many european grand prix riders do that with their legs, just because it's different doesn't mean it's wrong.

  • My dad had a purple one of those. XD

  • that looked so easy

  • Jump it over a Bigatti Veyron.

  • Yes this is dangerous, but isn't that one of the many thrills of riding? When your going towards that jump and thinking, this is big and it could be fatal but you believe in your horse that it will jump so hell yeah it's dangerous but so what? If i fall off my horse over a risky jump, i just get back on and try again and if i break a leg, i still can't wait to try it again! :D

  • It IS dangerous. There is always a chance that a mistake could happen and broken glass + pony = bad situation.

fantastic riding but PLEASE be careful!

  • Woah, That's happened to my leg before, it's so scary (thankfully my horse has a squishy neck) But wow that looks so cool! I wish I could do that.

  • That is bloody amazing :O

  • Ok, seriously, stop complaining about her lower leg. Have you seen professional riders lower leg? Plus, the person actually stayed in the saddle and had a nice release.

  • Ok, seriously, stop complaining about her lower leg. Have you seen professional riders lower leg? Plus, she actually stayed in the saddle and had a nice release.

  • how big is the horse :) x

  • @LetsFlyOnceMore i understand that ? i was just pointing it out, ahah, nbd bro '

  • @TeamGeeEventing it is dangerous, and they should be careful, _but_ nevertheless, that horse is incredibly athletic and the rider is very good... I'm just saying that, (if you were doing this yourself or something) that yes look at how cool it is and what a show of how athletic your horse is and how good of a rider you are, but also remember that it's dangerous and to be careful/safe...

  • but still WOW

  • WOW that's all i can say lol:)

  • Wow! Bold jump!

  • Comment removed

  • that is one boom proof horse

  • @TheSpecialK12 no its just a talented jumper

  • wowww :) btw to everyone who is on about the legs, ide really like to see you ALL post videos of this when your on the horse.

  • That was really cool. Nice jump I thought. 8)

  • Everyone's going on about the lower leg and yes it is too far back, but for god's sake! They cleared it and stayed on, in all reality that's all that really matters right?! My exracer would give it a go but would probably jump me out the saddle so well done!

  • @angel362 ya but look at olypic show jumpers there legs go so far back too. in jumpers it doesn

t matter how u look just how u get over the fence

  • is the foot like... through the stirrup???

  • @MyBabyBoyBobby No they are spurs i think :/

  • @MyBabyBoyBobby who cares

  • legs back waaay too far. everythings else is preeetyy good tho ,

  • @hunterjumper12541 dude who cares they got over it with an hestiation

  • You must be very proud of that horse. Do you show him alot?

  • wow thats awesome!! i can barely get my horse to jump a 2 foot fallen tree let alone a car!! awesome job

  • nice job and very cool but what happened to ur lower leg?

  • That's very cool :) some good riding there too.

  • 0:06 ...

    But still pretty impressive!

  • keep your leg forward

  • @grayponylove

    and @punchjumper3744

The horse doesn't seem to mind. He jumps confident and without hesitation. Both the horse and the rider look relaxed. What more do you want.

Or are all of you better then him? Well then, post a vid of your own. I love to see you jump a car.

I am one always the first to comment on bad riding, but you have to keep ik honest people.

  • @grayponylove

    could you jump a car?

no didnt think so, so dont crit people on something you could never do!

  • @LoveLifeEquine i was just saying.

  • WOW. Guter Sprung!

  • cool jump!! your eq needs a little work though

  • Everyone needs to chill out, you only live once.

  • woo pause it at 6 sec it nice! x =]

  • cool.

  • thats amazing! :)

  • beautifully ridden!! so at ease both horse and rider

  • when your jumping that high do you need to lean more on your 2point?

  • this is very good, and such a good horse to do that for u

  • that is INCREDIBLY dangerous since a car is a solid and hard object and also something hes probably not used to jumping so he could easily spook, refuse, orrrrr do a sliding stop and SMASH HIMSELF INTO THE CAR! >:(

  • @xEquestrianGirly ever heard of cross-country?

  • @TeamGeeEventing yeah i actually have. the *right way*

  • @xEquestrianGirly bollocks, there are bigger, more solid fences than this around 3/4*. you shouldnt be commenting on 'it could be dangerous', you should be looking at hoe atheletic and bold the horse is alongside how skillful the rider was to place his horse and make sure it was safe.

  • @TeamGeeEventing yea, yeah keep talking....

  • @xEquestrianGirly i sure will if you carry on with your silly comments :)

  • @xEquestrianGirly I'm pretty sure TeamGeeEventing knows what they're talking about. I mean even I know that and I'm a D3 pony clubber.

  • @BarnSour4Prince yeah.....sure you do! even though I'm an A3...

  • well, its bad to do this your horse cld trip and smash ITS FACE INTO THE FUCKING CAR!!!!!!!

  • CRAZYYYYY!Love it

  • haha hey ive done tht before with my black geldig thourobred,FUN ISNT IT!!!!!!!!i jumped him 5 ft,

  • Guys, HE didn't jump the horse, as you can clearly see in the description, he kept writing in the third person.

  • Uhhh... is that physiclly possible? I mean for other people who aren't you because you and your horse were just like, "Where is the car? It just looks like a tiny pile of junk!" LOL

  • Easy peasy

  • Amazing- i think the postion is great

  • amazing !

  • i dont think any of you guys can crit the rider here obvisiously he/she knows whats going on and how to ride looks very skilled so does the horse well done i just think the idea of jumping a car is safe but your call your riding is great

  • Yeah your lower legs is important but allot of the best showjumpers in the world put their legs back over a fence if you can recover your possition who cares. mariavana you just want to moan at everyone else to make yourself feel better. You need to look closer to home and learn to ride with a contact your horse looks like a donkey going round like that.

  • @amycarnet Well it wasn't my horse, the horses I have on my channel are horses I've ridden at the University of Findlay where I'm getting my horses training degree. Both of those horses are schoolies that don't handle contact well and don't need a frame to do their job =] It will soon be my job to help others improve their riding so I watch videos to improve my eye, if you don't like what I have to say you don't have to respond to it.

  • wow .! xD

    Oo. horny xD

  • Very sorry, but i am increasingly amsued by most of the comments on this video. Bad position? I would very much like to see these jealous young novices jumping a car or simply a fence of this height (or most probably even half this height). I am sure it would bring myself, the postee and the rider in this video great amusment.

  • @Eventer16 HAHA yeah i know

oh lower leg education, where have you gone? haha

    MariaVana 3 months ago 4

I went and checked out her vids she CANT RIDE HAHA

  • @amycarnet Well the stirrups are adjustable =]

  • @Eventer16 umm excuse me but i doubt u could do it... and anyway im not saying she had bad posture but that is very dangerous. if her or her horse made one bad mistake her horse could break a leg and have to be put down. second you could die.. and yes i CAN jump that high and bette

  • Its nice xD

  • wow:) x

  • Whoa! Thats Badass :D

  • Wow!!!

  • Jumping always has a risk so u should be carefull but it seems like your horse trusts u so go for it and have fun you and your horse have potential

  • i think it's so cool how horses can jump cars i have been riding for five years but i still need more practice to jump a car!!

  • The horse jumped it without a problem, so there fore I have no problem with it. Simple as that, people. ^_^

  • OMG! Your horse must trust you lots! He is stunning, an awesome jumper! "A car? So what? BRING IT ON!"

  • OMG! Your horse must trust you lots! He is stunning, an awesome jumper! "A car? So what? BRING ITON!"

  • jumping that car has the same dangersous affects as crass country,.. NOT A BIG DEAL. if your horse hits a jump going x counrty it not gonna move either.. the guy knew how to handle the jump as well as the horse

  • im looking at these comments and im sick of seeing the rude comments she jumped a car BIG DEAL my cousin jumps cars all the time bareback its not a sftey hazzard calm down geez!

  • W.O.W. That horse looked like, "Jump this? Sure!" Very cool - and I won't get on your case about safety issues because it is your choice to jump a car...wish I could try it!

  • what would happen if the horse didn't make the jump.

  • WOW! Your horse really trust you... amazing... but dangerous...

  • Not trying to be mean or anything, but you or the guy jumping shouldn't really jump the horse over a car just in case of the horse hitting the car.

  • Not trying to be mean or anything, but you or the guy jumping shouldn't really jump the horse over a car just in case of the horse hitting the car.

  • @Horsegirl2199 you if the hrose looked like it cared to jump the car you shouljd be worried but it didn't so stop worring

  • woahh....amazing!

  • Amazing horse & amazing rider

Hats off to th pair of you!

  • SWEETNESS

  • WOW!

  • wooow thats amazinnggggg but your leg slipped way backkk ! but youurr amazinggg 0_0

  • o_o .........

  • @aezop i agree with you. Anyways, if its so dangerous, then why do olympic riders do it in big XC events? I've seen it. And amazing video! Your horse is stunning!!!!

  • wow your a good rider and what a very good horse him/her must have a lot trust in you to jump that and u must trust ur horse alot :)

  • my horse would freak out. you have a nice horse

  • do that without the horse under you then I'm impressed :L:L

  • @fdjyufte i would love to see you do it without a horse and i will be impressed

  • @fdjyufte I would love you see you just that WITH a horse and I'd still be very impressed...

  • Wow you are a incredible rider :)

  • holy shit :O thats awesome xx

  • Oh lower leg education, where have you gone? haha

  • @MariaVana-YES. exactly what I thought...

  • @MariaVana he looks like a showjumper, not an eq hunter.. no one cares about lower leg aslong as you go clear and fast

  • @rosierocksurworld Yes he's obviously a jumper, but that doesn't mean you should forget about your equitation. There is a reason lower leg education is drilled so heavily that is your base of support and your support for your horse. If you've ever watched Mclain Ward and Sapphire you will see that even in the grand prix ring he rides with his leg under him. Because in the jumpers it's even more important to be tight in your tack so you can make quick adjustments or corrections

  • @MariaVana its really not as important as you make it to be, in showjumping, training is more focused on controlling the horses striding and pace, yes a lowerleg is supportive, but get real - jumping this high is hard and the rider did a bloody good jump and his style was brilliant. Even the Whitakers let their lower leg back, they dont fall off so It's not a big deal.

  • @rosierocksurworld It's a little over four foot which is respectable but your lower leg is the most important part of your body while you are riding and without it you cannot have correct and good control of the horses stride and pace. I don't mean to be argumentative but I'm currently in school to become a trainer and what is stressed by my trainers and coaches more than anything is your base of support... your lower leg. And we are mostly jumper riders, the hunters don't focus on leg as much
