are you saying it's a mistake when you use mascara and only kohl rim the bottom waterline? my daily makeup routine for the eyes i just use mascara and i kohl rim the entire eye (top and bottom waterline) and until now I've thought that it looked great! but now you make me doubt myself... haha!

i love red lips! i don't understand why it's a "trend". there is nothing more classic and classy, in my opinion, than a red lip. i wear it most of the time. i do darker, deeper ones at night and more wearable ones during the day, but nevertheless, i wear it the majority of the time. other lip colors just don't look very good on me so if it's not red, chances are it's a clear chapstick or a lipstick the shade of my lips.

For some reason I just can't get into the thicker brows, maybe because my brows are naturally thin. But on the other hand I do not like thin brows either. Middle ground, as you said, is best. I'm a sucker for angular brows, love them! I also LOVE the naked makeup trend, orange, red lips....

Tip for red lips: Use a wine red lip liner in the corners of your mouth (about 1/3 from the middle) and on the edges of your lips, not the middle of the cupid's bow! Fill in the rest with a coral pink lipstick and blend the lipstick and the lip liner, making sure there's only in the middle of your lips

I like to do a kind of nude makeup, but like you said it's hard to get that colour. I use a tinted moisturiser so my freckles still show through, conceal any spts, use a cheek/lip stain, brown mascara, and a VERY light dusting of powder. I love it :)

Do you have any tips for actually applying the red lipstick. Because you cant just slap it on like a nude colour, I have found/seen that you need to layer it with other products to get the best results, and then putting concealer around the lip for it not to bleed colour. How would you recommend applying it please? :)

Hi, I can't line my upper lid because my crease kind of covers it...so I use khol on my bottom water line...and you are right Wayne, it makes eyes look weird...but when I apply a dark matte brown and smudge it out and wing it upwards and blend that wing into the upper lid..it looks really good. <3 i should make a video describing it.

@agreyeyes126 if you're using powder foundation use the concealer first, if it's liquid use it after. That's what I tend to do, simply because the powder foundation will set the concealer, whereas with a liquid it will cover the concealer and then you just have to use more on top again. Hope I'm right and that it helps =)
