Worst part of the video, is Snape holding Lily, crying, while baby Harry watches from his crib crying, too. i think it would be cool if J.K. Rowling wrote the story of when Lily, Severus, and James, and all the others were at Hogwarts!! i would like to read/see the story that lead up to the Harry Potter books!!!

With the exception of Moldy-warts and assorted Death Eaters (because hey, when you're straight-up evil, not much to be done there), everyone had some level of it. It can't just be action and so on all the time; if you don't care about the characters, there's no point to the experience. It'd be like spending your life savings at a high-tech theater just to see things go boom. You may as well buy a set of fireworks.
I love how open ended the movie is. There are so many questions you can have from these scenes such as "If Severus and Lily have the same Patronus, maybe they were meant to be together from birth", or even "Maybe Severus and Lily are Harry's true parents". I just love JK. Rowling. Best book/film series ever.

@vserg1908 Dumbledore had figured that Snape had gotten over Lily, it had been over a decade since she was alive, much less friends with him. Dumbledore thought that with all that time, Snape would've moved on. He just assumed that Snape lusted after Lily; never truly loving her. But Snape's Patronus revealed to him just how deep his feelings for Lily really were.

@Sereneaid1 I don't think Snape loved Harry. I also doubt that he even liked Harry. . However he truly loved Lily. I believe he did that he did for Harry out of his love for Lily. The proof of this is when he was asked if he had grown to care for the boy. He responded by producing his patronus which was in the form of a doe, the same as Lily's and the proof of his eternal love for her.
This movie was so good, and so was the book. But this is the one scene that actually made me cry. I think that Severus has been misunderstood the whole time, and this finally clears things up. Wouldn't it be devestating if you loved someone more than anything else in the world, and then that person whent off and married your worst enemy?
The way he loved Lily, is the way i am hoping to be loved by someone... @CheckPleez480 : Snape is too distraught and heartbroken to notice, man -have a heart she was the love of his life and he had asked Dumbledore to protect her from Voldermort. He didn't bank on her sacrificing herself for her baby or that they would be found since Wormtail and broken the fidelius charm by telling Voldermort there where abouts. Funny there were several people there that night, Snape, Hagrid, Sirius all there after the fact-sad really.

@CheckPleez480 : Well I didn't really consider that a real death, he merely killed the piece of Voldermort inside him not himself so to speak ( although that must of caused a lot of pain)-I thought the piece of Voldermorts soul was really horrible. He was knocked unconscious by the curse as was Voldermort and could of died and admirably so but chose not too-instead he came back to kill what was left of the man he need to kill because it was his duty to do so, no one else was meant to kill him.
I could imagine what would have happened if they ended up together. A happy ending! Well, maybe not with Voldemort around but at least Snape would be happy.

If only I had someone who loved me as much as Severus loves Lily. His great love for her transcends fiction and sticks in our brains. I have always loved Severus' character even when others hated him for killing Dumbledore. I'm glad my faith in him was rewarded in Deathly Hallows. My book has tear stains in it from the Prince's Tale.
You know, when I read these scenes in the book, they were surreal, but in the movie, they almost feel even more so because of the fact that I finally saw Snape as a vulnerable human being rather than an emotionless one.
Did anyone catch Magic Beyond Words: The JK Rowling Story? It was pretty awesome. Jo's best friend's last name was Potter and he had red hair. At one point she called him a weasel and he said "maybe you could put me into a story" or something like that. He was the inspiration for the Weasley's because he had red hair, only he's a Potter. I like Snape ever since the first book. But it was only with the last one that I knew why. I actually cried when this was in the film.

This is soo beautiful! I'm really sorry that I hated Snape so much when he killed Dumbledore :'( Snape is really a hero! I'm so sorry for him that Lily married James... :'( His live hurts so much. :(

@Sereneaid1 I don't think Snape loved Harry. I also doubt that he even liked Harry. . However he truly loved Lily. I believe he did that he did for Harry out of his love for Lily. The proof of this is when he was asked if he had grown to care for the boy. He responded by producing his patronus which was in the form of a doe, the same as Lily's and the proof of his eternal love for her.

This movie was so good, and so was the book. But this is the one scene that actually made me cry. I think that Severus has been misunderstood the whole time, and this finally clears things up. Wouldn't it be devestating if you loved someone more than anything else in the world, and then that person whent off and married your worst enemy?

The way he loved Lily, is the way i am hoping to be loved by someone... I Wish i were Lily, then i could have loved him back, i mean, if it wasent for her, he wouldnt have helped Voldemort in the beginning, thank god for Dumbledore who actually helped him. God. He ended up being killed just for protect her son. I can always hear he's amazing voice ind my head, when he says to Harry, ' You have your mothers eyes'. I Cried like a baby, and still do.. I need a hero in my life. I need Severus Snape.

@CheckPleez480 : Snape is too distraught and heartbroken to notice, man -have a heart she was the love of his life and he had asked Dumbledore to protect her from Voldermort. He didn't bank on her sacrificing herself for her baby or that they would be found since Wormtail and broken the fidelius charm by telling Voldermort there where abouts. Funny there were several people there that night, Snape, Hagrid, Sirius all there after the fact-sad really.

one thing i don't get is the fact that Harry lives such a suckish life. first his partents die, then he is abused by the dursleys( i dont why). then he lives 6 years of complete oblivian, and then he practicly can't even go to school because such bad things happen, and then he dies young. its just not right.....

@CheckPleez480 : ? he dies young-he doesn't die, well he probably dies naturally of old age off page[screen] because he decided that he didn't want the Elder Wand as it had so much of a bloody trail and having it-even if he didn't brag about it would actually get him killed for it, so he died a natural death of old age. Yes he never had a time at school when he wasn't being attacked by Voldermort or his memory-but he still had fun nonetheless. The Dursleys were both afraid and jealous of him.

@jane1975 yes he actually does die....but he comes back alive....in the seventh part 2 movie watch the ending when it comes out :( It nearly made me cry. I can tell you are a huge harry potter fan. I AM A HUGE FAN!! :D

@CheckPleez480 : Well I didn't really consider that a real death, he merely killed the piece of Voldermort inside him not himself so to speak ( although that must of caused a lot of pain)-I thought the piece of Voldermorts soul was really horrible. He was knocked unconscious by the curse as was Voldermort and could of died and admirably so but chose not too-instead he came back to kill what was left of the man he need to kill because it was his duty to do so, no one else was meant to kill him.

If only I had someone who loved me as much as Severus loves Lily. His great love for her transcends fiction and sticks in our brains. I have always loved Severus' character even when others hated him for killing Dumbledore. I'm glad my faith in him was rewarded in Deathly Hallows. My book has tear stains in it from the Prince's Tale.

You know, when I read these scenes in the book, they were surreal, but in the movie, they almost feel even more so because of the fact that I finally saw Snape as a vulnerable human being rather than an emotionless one.

Did anyone catch Magic Beyond Words: The JK Rowling Story? It was pretty awesome. Jo's best friend's last name was Potter and he had red hair. At one point she called him a weasel and he said "maybe you could put me into a story" or something like that. He was the inspiration for the Weasley's because he had red hair, only he's a Potter. Lol

when I saw this part of the movie. Snape was one of my favs but after this I was crying cause he gotten a bad hand from the start and misunderstood. he cared more for harry than anyone of them :C even if it was more for lily, it was so genuine his love and grow to care for harry

You could see the hope in his eyes as he was walking down the hall..thinking maybe she was spared, especially once he passed James. He was holding on believing she was still alive and he might have her to himself, and then,,his hopes were crushed...soooooooooooo saaaaaaaaaaaaad I had a headache for two days from all that crying and loss...
