  • Great foundation tutorial! You look absolutely stunning and don't pay any attention towards mean comments, YAY FOR FULL FIGURE GIRLS! (I'm one as well ;) )

  • omg i always do my eye too

  • Your skin looks beautiful without makeup. Love your vids!

  • Thanks for the video ^^

It was really helpful for me, I'm just learning how to put on foundation.

I have skin that is not dry, and never greasy (lucky I think) do I need to bother with a foundation? I have MAC Powder Plus Foundation in NC15.

  • @ravenology It's really a personal decision. If you're happy with how your skin looks and you don't feel like you have any blemishes you want to conceal or uneven skin tone that you want to even out, then by all means, rock out with your natural beauty! Nothing's more beautiful than what nature has blessed you with! If you still feel the need for some form of makeup, then go with a light coverage foundation or just some simple powder like what you're using. :)

  • @kuuipo1207

    Thank you very much ^^

  • okay there is somethig i dnt understand bout makeup & i need help i use foundation but i dnt know what to do for it not to stain on my clothes or my hands if you understand what i mean like lets say i hug someone it would stain & i don't know how to stop that any tips ??? I use a brush to blend it well but it doesn't stop staining & also use powder like to make the foundation lighter since i need it but it still stains .

  • Thank you so much. Very helpful tips and information. Great job.

  • you ramble.

  • wow, thanx for warning me!! sike jkjkjkjkkjkjkkjk just being smart

  • So, whats this about paint brushes? Makes perfect sense to me. One can go broke buying all the pro brushes. Can you tell me where I can go on UTUBE to find a vid about the brushes. Cheers!

  • This is really really helpful. The colour theory thing was SO interesting and cool. I have really bad pimples, so this definitely covered it up for me. THANKS. Here's to one makeup applying genius on YouTube who actually gets it right.

  • If i use the peach corrector do I need to use my regular concealer on top of that or should peach corrector be enough to conceal as well? I got so many correctors and concealers, I'm completely lost with concealing my undereyes! Any suggestions?

  • Here is my problem: I'm almost 40 (gasp!) I have terrible wrinkles around my eyes. When I apply any make-up around the bottom of my eyes, the make-up gets "trapped" in the wrinkles. Any suggestions??

  • @kate53070 i heard that cover girl simply ageless works really good, my best friend's mom uses it and she looks great with it (and shes almost 50) :)

  • Thankss :)

  • that's a good idea using regular paint brushes! how much were they?

  • you are pretty without makeup!

  • wow you dont need makeup, your so cute giiirl! :D

  • lol i know how u said tat the "invisible" powder didn't leave any pigment ar anythin, but it actually made your face look like 2 shades lighter cuz u used too much! lol just thought tat wood help but anyway LOVE your videos!

  • this is is a great foundation and concealer video. one of the best. but what is that brown spot on you actual eyeball?!

  • verrrry helpful!

i like you, youre funny :]

youre very pretty, even in your "before" picture!

  • Does the set powder make your face any paler? just wondreing cuz im really pale and wouldn't wan't anything to make me look any more paler!

  • you use waaaaaaay too much powder! you should tap your brush before applying to get rid of the excess :/

  • Oh please - that is so outdated. That is just some rule - that some person made up - because it sounds professional. There is no need to "tap". Makes me laugh so hard when people do that

  • i started cracking up when i saw the length of the brush. lol

  • girl are you kiidin with the begging statement of your vid ? YOU STILL LOOK HOT MAKE UP FREE, your eyes are still stunning looking, your hair looks great and your skin......very caressable. woman you are a natural beauty and the darin it the dude who gets to kiss you......he'd be lucky .

  • hi there, great video. i have the problem that often my conceiler as well as my foundation creep into my fine line under the eye. any tip to avoid this? its not even a real wrinkle, just a super fine line, but i find it looks bigger and actually horrible when that happens - worse than with no make up on at all :(

  • hiya it's called Eve Pearl's Salmon concealer.Funny that I was looking at her website the other day has good products.

  • HI,....i am really thankful to u for this video...espacially when u mentioned to apply moisturiser befor foundation, thanks a lot once again.

  • what did u use to cover the dark circles? also what color?

  • dun ya have anything for a lil darker skin ? Some ideas which color to apply ,I mean the foundation thingy !

Hope to hear soon from u ..

    Tc

    Rimi

  • hey there can you provide a link for the corrector concealor please? I've been on the mac pro site and cant find the pro select coverup in green and peach :(

    thanks x

  • do you have dry skin or oily skin? i just wanted to know if this clinique foundation is better suited for dry skin or oily :)

  • I have combination oily skin in the summer, and combination dry skin during the winter. The foundation I use from Clinique is suited for Combination skin types. However, Clinique does have different formulas to suit all skin types whether it's oily, dry, combo oily, combo dry, or "normal"...although I have yet to meet someone with "normal" skin. Haha :)

  • thankyou for your response,i appreciate those who actually respond to my comments :) i went to sephora to get a sample for this foundation, 4G seemed to suit me and with mat primer, it helps controlmyoils.i went for 4hrs with a super matte face yseterday at the mall. i am very pleased. but ill continue w/ the sample b/c whenever i rush into buying foundation, i soon find myself unsatisfied LOL..except it kinda gives me a white ghost look when applied too much. soi think i need a powder with it.

  • No problem. Glad the sample worked out for you. And I know what you mean about the whole buying something and then it seems like it only half works then or something. lol :)

  • i have alot of blackheads and noticeable pores on my nose..and i notice that my liquid foundation always rubs off there even after i set it with powder..itll come off like 2 hrs later..do you have a solution to this? i do use a matte primer so yeah..i dont know why it still dose that..=T

  • There is a site on here entitled birthday makeup. She does her eye's in such a different really pretty look, but she doesn't tell you how to do it. I was just wondering if you could look at it and maybe do something on that look? TY!

  • Just a question, is it better to let your foundation set before you apply the rest of your make?

  • great great great video, really helped me, love it!

  • you are dork..lol

I hate foundation, but with my scars, and zits I kindaaa need it :(...but I can't stand powder, so I am happy what you've provided

    thank you

  • Where can I learn more about these brush substitutes because with some of my friends that are starting out with makeup, it's a bit hard to convince them to spend so much on these brushes? I loved the video thank u!

  • I might get thumbed down for this, but I just wanna say that it's very refreshing to see a woman who isn't a complete stick insect doing a tutorial. Shows that curvy ladies know how to use make-up too. You go, pretty gal! ;)

  • Thumbs up from me ;D

  • excellent video to show the basics of foundation, keep up the good work!

  • oh my god you're so cute!! i love how you talk a lot and like laugh cuz you cant explain it :} your videos are great!

  • relax lady u look fine without makeup. if u saw my face u'd scream.

  • what ind of skin moisturizer do you use?

  • even though it was 18 mins. it didnt seem like it. everything you said was helpful and im glad you made this video. def. gonna look up the brushes and set powder

  • haha I bust myself moving my face with u, when you hid your lips so you wont get foundation on it I also hid my lips haha

  • she doesnt take 19 minsuites to do. she talked aswell so it only takes her about 5 really

  • Um yes you are pretty without makeup!! Screw that person!

  • this video is very helpful. I had no idea how to apply foundation or makeup basics. Thank you very much

  • Lets see your face without makeup.

  • What about concealer for acne on dark skin? I can't imagine there's anyway to blend green concealer into brown skin, even if the blemish itself is red.

  • thanks for the vido it was helpful . can u order the mac set powder on line and where

  • Does the green and peach concealers work for all skin tones? I'm on the darker side. Or is it only for light skin like yours?

  • Your vids are great and detailed. I'm starting the make-up industry and this really helps. You don't have dark circles under your eyes (lucky(, if someone has, should I put concealer over the salmon color concealer??

  • If you use the right salmon concealer, you shouldn't need to put any other concealer on to cover the dark circles.

  • ohhmygod. you ramble on wayy too much!

  • no u retard , it does not take her this long, obviously. most of the time she is talking and explaining alot of things, not doing her actual make up. like the color wheel, do u think she actually sits there in the morning and explains it to herself?? i think not.

  • lol...thx. key word here would be "think". Not a lot of people do that now-a-days. Haha :)

  • It took you almost 19 minutes to do this video. How long does it usually take you to apply your makeup?... It take a lot of time to look pretty!

  • it does not take her 19 minutes every day retard! she does not sit there in the morning and take forever explaining the color wheel and the types of brushes to herself! hellloooo! most of the time, shes talking and explaining, not doing her makeup. geez. think before you type.

  • Wtf?! Why don't you READ before you type blondie! I said "It took you 19 minutes to do THIS VIDEO! fool

  • Hello, Just an idea of that long brush handle... You don't have to do anything since your mirror distance is far, but I usually do I cut a long andle brushes in half so that I can really get close up or mirror, and sand the egde down and color it with my favorite color nail polish. But you don't have to... no poky pokies... for me that way~~ =-D

  • I've thought about breaking the brush handle so it wouldn't be so long, but for the life of me I never thought about sanding the end down, which is why I never shortened my handles...cause I didn't want the splinters and stuff. lol. I'm such a goober. I'll def try that now. :D

  • sand it down with your nail files it would the good job... don't worry... just color them with your your about to die nail polish and just dip it in and no more splinters!! fun! =-D

  • About the time someone explain about color chart. LOVE That!!!

  • I love how you said you would handle your getting old gracefully....hope I will too...

  • haha everybody do the worning thing :D

  • meant to write amazing pfft

  • you look really amaking without any makeup :*)

  • i think you looked even more gorgeous before you applied all your makeup

  • Hey!! About applying foundation in your eyes... you are totally in right.. i went to a make up class to Helena Rubinstein and my teacher explain me that foundation should also go there cuz it should be applied ALL OVER THE FACE... so don't worry u are tottaly in right!

  • oh, my goodness. you are so good at explaining, and i love your video. you made all this makeup stuff so clear in my mind and i love it. thank you so much. you are beautiful!

  • How much is that Clinique foundation?

  • You look great even without foundation on! I have dark circles around my eyes and my friends joke that I look like I'm sick, my skin is just very yellow and BLAH. I'm Brazilian but I live in MASS so I guess it's from the lack of sun that I would usually get on my skin. But ANYWAY lol you look great even without makeup on and you did not scare me even a tiny bit.

  • very helpful vid. thank you very much for posting. i learned a lot n your really good at explaining things :)

iv been having sooo much trouble with make up lately, its just not going on properly for me :(

i didn think MAC was that good n to be honest i dont think it suits me...im still searching for a good foundation so any tips would help :)

any tips on a good moisturiser would really help me too. i just cant seem to get a good one for my skin n one that helps me blend my foundation. X

  • Your very pretty! Love ur personality

  • You are so pretty it's unbelieveable! Your tutorial was amazing.

    ;D

  • I can wear all makeup but can only use Merle Norman Luxiva foundation, it's sooo awesome been using it for like 10 yrs, my face actually breaks out without it. It's so hard but so important to find a foundation that works for your own skin.

  • great job blending/ explanin, as well as advice on paint brushes instead of MAC. not to put you down, just constructive criticism: though the colors perfectly even everything out tone-wise, you look like a GHOST at end! ive seen people's chest, arms, neck n rest of body a different color than face. thus, im one of those who does major powdering onto my jawline and then a little lighter all the way down neck. sorry that was so long, basically just another comparisons, observation.

  • I agree. I think you might have put just a LITTTLE too much foundation. When you showed the actual picture of the before/after, it wasn't as harsh so I don't know if it's the lighting and (filming)camera combo but it did look less "ghost-ish" in the picture. But still awesome video, you explained it really well and showed us a very good way of applying.

  • thanks a lot

  • thanks alot for this video.i really needed this, could you please do me a tutorial on how to create a fine look, thin eyeliner, liquid eyeliner, false eyelashes, and a creamy.peach eyeshadow

  • hi your such a good talker. go girl.

  • you have a natural look.

  • omg ur so good at this

  • ur so awesome n funny!! =] in ur easy to understand l0l=]

  • is mac in america expensive?

your make up looks awesome, but in australia, im pretty sure its expensive, and i use alot of ake up,so i dont wanna spend that much money. so jealous.

  • kind of, sortaaa..

    foundation costs around $26

    brushes, are 30 or more..

  • Yes they're i paid 35$ for a brush!! Very expensive!!

  • You look like Connie out of Sneaky Sound System! :)

  • ur the effin bomb!

  • I <3 CLINIQUE MAKEUP! The best!

  • great tutorial... ur so funny..

  • Great tutorial!

  • Lmao concealing something on your neck..

    That part was pretty funny

  • Right?! hahhahaaaaaaa

  • if u use green to counteract red, you will get a grey. when u miz opposite colours u will get grey. i use the mac select coverup in the same color as my skin tone and it works the best.

  • you look great with out makeup! you don't need it! you so made it seem like you were just awful or something. but you got great skin.

this video is very educational for us that want to learn to cover everything and know how to do everything from beginning to end. thank you!

  • are there any cheaper products out there that work just as well? unfortunately i can't afford mac.

  • revlon colorstay foundation works great.

for brushes, you can google crown brushes, or sigma brushes.

paintbrushes from michaels are also affordable.

theyre called lowel cornell i think

  • there are heaps of products that you can use that aren't as expensive. For an effective concealer set, look at the Napoleon Set range, or there are alot of brands in Priceline etc that you can use. Revlon do some more affordable but great concealers or Maybelline Everfresh. They come in a like a little wand. Revlon New Complexion is also an option for a natural looking foundation. Hope that helps a little?

    x

  • what is a mineral foundation...??

does any1 know of any good foundations that are non-comodegenic and are suitable for oily skin. Also make sure it is available in the UK!! x

  • You look totally gorgeous without makeup :)

  • I find you look wayyy better without all of this makeup.

Your skin looks healthier, darker and natural

    :)

  • can i set my foundation with MAC's mineralize skinfinish? or mineral veil from Bare Minerals?

  • Can the orange conceller cover a pemple sport? I have a few that never go anywhere, but my face.. it's so anoying to see them every days, thanks

  • oh that doesn't work for my medium skin tone,

i use a green concealer from the mac pro store

  • yeah im a medium light color , and the peach doesnt work on my undereyes , i use green too .

  • my undereye circles are more red then purple & blue, so i use green on my circles and pimples

  • If you wash your brushes and it frays or if it leaves streaks when you apply your makeup work some powder through the brush bristles to get it nice and soft.

  • people say they wanna go for natural look because they dont wanna look likea cake face also some ppl like to have some things covered up

  • I've always admired your makeups, but now I've to say a thing: Your eyes have a naturally beautiful shape. Ok, I've say that (And I hope my english is comprehensible ^_^").

  • omg i hate when people say "going for a nartural look" then dont wear any makeup for god sakess!!

  • nice video!!

  • Also, What is the point of the invisible powder if it doesn't show. i got a lil lost on that one.. : )

  • PrettyBizzar33 : Invisible powder is used to set your foundation. It doesn't add colour or have any noticeable appearance. I think.

  • How much does the green one cost at saphora ?? :) . i want one

  • I'm so glad I found you!! You make everything look so easy...thanks for taking the time to make these videos and keep on doing them for all makeup lovers like me!!

  • You're tips were quit good, but you're talking toooo much ;D

  • Haha you are so real and funny!

  • how do u stop getting creases under your eyes when u put foundation under them :(

  • since i love your skills, i thought you could help me out. i use mac select moisture cover concealer. i have REALLY dark undereye circles and dry skin...and it always comes out really cakey. i usually moisturize with ponds, then apply the concealer in light dabs, and use a powder brush to set it with mac select sheer/loose powder. i feel like i have tried everything...am i doing something wrong? any advice would be appreciated, thanks! =)

  • yeaahh , your kinda pro !

niice woork i actually think imight have an idea of what im doing now ;)

    xxx

  • Hi! I think you really look beautiful even without makeup on...

  • Hey girl,

I have a question. Does that little wheel help with matching make up and clothes too? or is it just for makeup?

  • before the concealer and foundation, do you use any special face "cream" or other product?

  • wow...u r rly gd,loved the theory bout that green foundation on the spots gonna try it ;)
