Windows with it's NTFS has so unbelievably long file transfer times... Ubuntu with EXT4 is at least 2 times faster and 2 times more reliable. Also NTFS starts to slow down in use if Windows isn't installed again regularly, while EXT4 stays the same for years and years. Windows doesn't even recognize EXT4 lol!
Doesn't this always happen to all of us one time or another? (I know one time where it said a transfer would take 2 hours, so I eat lunch, and come back and it said it will take 2 DAYS! Of course, the actual time came to 8 hours. Those little time pointers are pretty much useless.)
