I actually think it's a really clever song, every aspect of it, especially how the intro is written. Nirvana-sounding or not, it's definitely part of an album that sounded like Nirvana. Brilliant song, brilliant album.

The reason it sounds like Nirvana is because it has similar chords to Oh The Guilt. I think they sampled it.

no hun distillers was more punk but punk and grunge/alternative are very similar sometimes.you can find the punk spirit in grunge.

people have trouble realizing that nirvana was a genre called grunge, the distillers are part of that genre so of course they will sound similar, do R and B songs sound alike? yes. are they different in alot of ways? yes!! this is my favorite band in the entire world and this is one of there best songs rightfully so it should not be lumped in with nirvana who is completly awesome in a completly different way
