I think im going to have to wait a long time to get myself one of these strange yet beautiful things. Till then will be playing you all in the background on my african drum.
They are very inexpensive black cloth gardening gloves. I tried smooth leather gloves but they still made strong slapping tones. With practice I find I need the gloves less and less.
I love this. Its joyful, light & amusing. This might sound strange but when I listen to music it often makes me think of a scenario or story that the music may tell. When I listened to this I imagined a happy contemplation of great ideas. Very uplifting. Thanks. I too have had my hang just 1 month. What date did you get yours?
Thank you! I like your visual for it! I named it this because my daughter thought it sounded like raindrops on leaves on a mountain trail and my son thought it sounded like something was being unwoven...so this name kind of fused them! I've enjoyed your music, too! Your rhythms sound like you've had prior drumming experience. I got my hang on September the 28th, but it is a Gen 1, and I didn't get it by going to Bern, but through a private sale.
Oh yes, she's not only smart, but beautiful, witty, full of life, courageous, and adventurous, too! Ditto for my son, but replace 'beautiful' with 'handsome'! I count myself fortunate to be their father and their friend (ditto all for my other daughter, too!).
Thanks! I've got a lot to learn, but the journey sure is fun! I sure appreciate all the other Hang player's posting their tunes so we can all learn from each other.
nice one, you're on the fast-track after just a month... cool idea with the gloves, I think I'll try playing with those little rubber fingertip thingies that they sell in office supply stores and see what happens.
that was great. your song as a good structure and I like that style of rhythm (i've started experimenting with a similar one myself). I'm impressed, especially after only 1 month! I look forward to the next one!
Thank you, Dante, you are very kind. Your Hang tunes rank among my favorite music of all time, so don't be surprised to hear their influence in some of my future videos!
i like this, nice vibe indeed
best wishes
