This was my daughter's senior Christmas concert (she isn't the one who fainted though). No one was laughing at this girl fainting, and the choir director didn't drag her, he practically carried her. It was scary and not in the least bit funny, and no one was laughing about it. The choir director said what he did to keep the mood light and finish the program. And the girl came back to finish. My ex did display bad taste posting this on YouTube, however.
@BlaiddDrwg2009 I don't laugh, but those who do are heartless idiots who don't know that something bad could be happening to the person who dropped. (hey, i'm real sorry if you laughed when something similar happens.I could have offended you).
@happ3y The Conductor IS a nice guy and does great work with these kids. I'm sure that was not the first time he had to drag someone off stage that was passed out cold.
If that were my choir, my conductor would have lef tme on the floor and had someone drag me out after the song. The rules were: if someone faints, keep singing we'll get them after the song.
We had a worse fainting at our junior high choir contest. During the ending of our song, where it goes "Over hooooooooooommmmeeeee" real long...right at the end she fell from the second row and smacked face first onto the gym floor! Bled from the neck and had to have an ambulance come...catastrophe.
We got a first, though...and the girl is fine, so...alright then?
I don't mind. To me, at first, I heard my heart beat inside my ears, my eyes kept forcing themselves to close, I felt dizzy, and my body was rocking back and forth. It feels like it lasted at least half an hour but it was actually a couple minutes but yeah, it feels like your asleep
That's nash

wow...can't believe they were laughing. o_O
Nice to see someone react so quickly though... some vids of people fainting make you laugh when they just stand there staring at whoever collapsed.

@happ3y
I was there and while it looks like he dragged her, he didn't. She wasn't exactly in the condition to walk, so he practically carried her.
