i hadn't heard this song in over 10 years ... and even at that stage it was years and years old!!! THIS IS SUCH A COOL SONG ... (I'm just trying to convince my girlfriend it is too)
I should add that I do believe it was sold as Mac Davis on iTunes, I just don't know why. It could be that this was a production and marketing technique back in the day. For example, I have a Waylon Jennings album where he sings a song live, by himself, that they later dubbed in Willy Nelson onto, and the version with Willy is now the most popular version despite the fact that he never actually appeared on the song live.
That is a sped-up version of the Tompall Glaser version of the song, from the album "Wanted: The Outlaws". That was one of my dad's favorite records, and I grew up on it. I know it inside and out. I have no idea why it would be on iTunes as Mac Davis, but that seriously is Tompall Glaser sped-up.
But no matter what, the fact remains that that's a very funny take and very well put-together. I'd like to see more stuff like that.
Thank you very much for the compliment! The song was voiced by a number of different men, as I found out when I tried to find the best version for my movie. This one was sung by Mac Davis, as stated in the credits.
Well I have that same song on the album 'Wanted the Outlaws'Which featured Tompall Glaser and that is the exact same song only a little faster on this video
I imagine one male voice sounds pretty much like another, but I can assure you, it was sold to me under the name of Mac Davis. I'm sorry, but I'm gonna have to believe iTunes on this one . . .
I thought that was quite good! I'm still trying to figure out how to get clips from the episodes, and turn it into a slideshow thing. I'm new at all this. Anyway, great video! Look forward to more of yours!

*shrugs* Okay, if you say so . . . personally, I wouldn't know either of them from Adam, so I wouldn't know.

I love how you timed that bit with "Tell you when you're getting fat." and the clip from School Reunion. It was priceless. :)
