This is quite disappointing to know that so many important aspects of the game turned out to be either last minute ideas or things that were planned before but turns out there is a better way to do it. I am a huge AC fan and the fact that there is such poor planning involved in this game makes me a less-believer. I still love the game, it's just me facing the truth.

well i don't buy it, i can't believe that a new facial recognition technology can change the face so much!!! if they use the same model, it should look the same but more realistic... not totally diferent!!! good i'm not playing the game right now... i'll buy it for christmans sales... but this would definitely break my inmersion... cuz we r not playing desmond anymore.... good thing that desmond journey is not that big part of the game...

It's rather obvious why he looks different. He is in a coma of memories so basically Desmond,Ezio and Altairs facial features are blending together within this dreamscape.
