Well, yeah that's generally true, but it also depends on where you go to school. At a public school, you would have to get everything you mentioned earlier, but at a good private school, they wouldn't hold the academic record to the same standard. A couple of my friends who got into Harvard had mostly As, but there were a few Bs on there as well. Their biggest attributes were that they were stellar writers and very well-rounded.

2400 on the SAT won't get you into Harvard, Yale, etc. Last year they rejected over 100 applicants with perfect SATs. Hopefully she has stellar grades as well as other extracurriculars.

To have even the slightest chance of getting into Harvard you need a 4.5 GPA, have taken all AP/honors classes in high school, have a perfect SAT. Graduated as a sophomore/junior. Done algebra 2 as a freshman Pre calculus as a sophomore and AP calculus as a junior. and even then you are not garanteed to get into harvard.

She has a PHYSICAL disability, not a MENTAL disability. A lot of the pretentious high school douchebags that comment on this video fail to wrap their "genius" intellects around the concept. She deserves extra time if the only way she can even write is with her feet.

As for you not getting a decent score, the SAT's do not accurately measure your intelligence. If you support the multiple intelligence theory, then the SAT is even more pointless. Don't sweat it.

She might have had additional time. The essay portion must have been extremely difficult for her otherwise. Perhaps she somehow worked her condition into the essay.

A 2400 is obtainable for a lot of people with thorough preparation and studying. If you just break 2200, I think all the colleges will stop caring about your score.

@EldoKim You must go to an elite school then. I was wrong about the 20 out of a million it was the first site I looked up. But everywhere else says 1 in 5,000 for recent tests. So about 300 out of 1.5 million. The fact that your school had 5 alone and you got a 2390 is phenomenal. And about the extra time. Try to take the test with your feet in the same amount of time, honestly. I don't care how good you are at using your feet it can't be nearly as fast as your hands.

Agnosticism doesn't even fall remotely near atheism. Atheism demands that there is no God or Gods. Agnosticism states that there is no sure way of knowing whether a deity exists.

Also, Catholicism does not represent theism as a whole at all. If you want to get into that department, atheism is heavily outweighed by the rest of the world religions and belief systems.
