Everyone who's asking about aoa go on their website- yes it is quite expensive but I think it's worth it if you are a rider- I really want to go to aoa too I've taken tours and stuff of it and I've ridden at their barn a couple times

I really want to go to this school. I live really far away from there so i want to stay there for a whole year. Does this school allow you to stay for a whole year without needing to go back to your regular home? and also is it expensive? sorry for all the questions... i tried calling the school but no one was there to pick up the phone so it told me to leave a message.

I really want to go there too... I went online alot...it looks great ! But I am financialy thinking it's a little too much. I live in Michigan so it's like 4 hours away... the prices were alittle high but I am just amazed ! It looks great ! I want to take my horse but it looks like too much money.... how much is boarding. Great school! Our daughter attends second grade there (we commute 35 miles each way twice a day), and she rides her horse, Bob, there twice a week. In fact, we like the equestrian staff there so much that we moved What About Bob (aka Bob) to AOA for two months of training and it is his new "home". You won't find a better school, both academically or in the equine world.

@madison52697 Glad to hear you made it for a visit. Pretty nice barn, eh? When I die, I want to come back as Bob! We own four horses, but only Bob stays at AOA. I will be trailing in our newest pony, Calvin (Heart of Gold"), to AOA tomorrow for Maddie to ride in her Monday lesson. Calvin is a special pony (he finished in the 20's at last year's Pony Finals and he is already qualified for this years finals). Maddie has to learn to ride him, and he needs to know what she's asking of him.

i really want to go to AOA. i might be able to convince me parents to let me start in 9th or 10th grade. (im in 8th now) but i wouldnt be able to board my horse if it was to much money. how much is boarding horses? do they have school horses so if i cant bring mine i can still ride?

i really want to got o this school. i have wanted to go to boarding school my whole life (like sence i heard of it) and imm going into 7th grade. do u know of a way to get it from 32000 to like 22 thousand of something (my dad told me i have to get a scholar ship but non of the scholar ships work out for me please help)

@xemilyx805 I had an amazing time at Andrews and would definitely recommend it to anyone. You can definitely bring my horse with you to school, I had mine there and I loved it!

I lived about a half an hour from campus so I was just a day student. However, I did stay in the dorms for a couple weekends and overnight stays and always had fun :)

@iluvwhimsy ok. cool. yea i looked at the dorms online (the whole online tour thing they've got). they look nice. Hey one last questions sorry. :p but do you know how much they give out like a year scholarship wise? my parents don't want to pay all of it so i have to come up with at least like 5-10,000. I know i could sell one of my horses i've been training..but i don't really want to give her up just yet =/

@xemilyx805 I'm not actually sure what the financial aid/scholarships are like nowadays. The amount you need seems feasible and if you work with the people in financial aid they should be able to make something work out for you. My parents wrote letters requesting more aid and Andrews came up with the number we were looking for.

i ive gone here since i was 6......you have to take tests to get in.......when the schools merged they created these tests and our class got to test them out.........they are SOOOO hard
