saanetershuffle. Do you know that the original Bible books were in Greek and Aramaic first? Of cours they weren't in English because English didn't even exist as a language then. The first Bibles to spread throughout Europe were in Greek (in all old Greek territories and hellenized areas) and then the latin vulgate translations were taken to the rest of Europe and later translated into other European langauges. 800 and so years is not older than the Greek texts which are over 1500 yrs old.
