Alien031: Sewage systems? Check out the youtube vid "polluted ganges", you'll see how hindus purify themselves in sewer water as the human corpses float by on their way to 'moksha'. Hinduism was one of the only backward forms of paganism that the civilised world allowed to survive. Perhaps we should have wiped it out also, but at least now we have a living example of the superstitions of primitive peoples.

Hinduism is not "uncivilized" or "primitive". Indians created the world's first sewage systems in the Indus Valley Civilization, and civilized society has waxed and waned in different regions of India ever since. It is a beautiful complex tradition + your comment denigrates and oversimplifies. The religious + philosophical traditions of Hindu Thought are complex and non-primitive, quite civilized, even if u dont agree with 'em you can have academic respect 4 the long complex civilized tradition.

Please either refrain from watching or educate urselves first abt what is probably the oldest, surviving religious tradition in the world. Elsewhere this has died out due to the advent of organised, abrahamic religions. Only in the land of Hind, does this sacrosanct tradition still survive.
