  • mi was dea

  • MINT DREDS

  • I picked up a tape of Handsworth Revolution at a music stall in a little town in staffordshire a couple of years back, probably my favourite reggae group.

  • Steel Pulse... still doing it. I was one of those that first got into them 30 years ago when they played very political reggae and toured with punk bands... I think they even supported The Police (of all people!) on their first major UK tour. Great to see them still going strong. Their first two albums have been worn out on my old record player over the years.

  • Love Love Love Steel Pulse...Will be awesome to see them live and in person...They should come to RAGGAMUFFIN in New Zealand Feb 2009....

  • What can ya say about steel pulse only that they are as good now as they were back in the 70's. David Hinds is a great singer/songwriter

  • He dosent need to look for a job!! hes part of fuckin STEEL PULSE "man"!!!!

  • what a great little video, well done!

  • I saw steel pulse supporting the stranglers in coventry back in `76 or `77. when they came on the stage, the idiot racists in the audience decided to greet them with a hail of bottles and glasses. They left the stage. We thought the racists had won. minutes later, the band returned, and all were wearing crash helmets! fittingly, they broke into "klu klux klan" Brave lads, true to the lion. BIG UP STEEL PULSE!

  • I remember them taking to the stage of the Glasgow Apollo wearing bedsheets and pillowslips (i.e. KKK uniforms) and then stripping them off to reveal the black rastas underneath. It went down a storm. They always got a great reception in Glasgow.

  • LOL!!!!!!!!! very funny mate. U very right. I just watched their latest docu dvd released last year - Steel Pulse in Perspective. Get it cos v.good. I wouldn't have believed u had i never c that DVD but ur story is true cos they chat about it all in it. Am a big big fan. U might be a true warrior to stand up for what u believe in. They played KKK down South in Redneck baackyard in the States so Coventry is a piece of cake to them Freedom Fighters man.

  • playing KKK in the deep south? brilliant. I was about 14 or 15 at the time of the cov gig, and I`d love to see the vid of them talking about it. Nice one kululu0000.
