  • Aikido is from Aikijitsu and it was battlefield art. It was one of many. Atemi, Koppo, Jujitsu, Koshi and Taijitsu etc...

  • 4:20 !

  • it's aikido

  • that's not quite aikido, it is more like jiu jitsu

  • @kruz200

aikido is derivate of jujutsu, much circular

  • @SuperPurgatorio yes, it is, but jiu-jitsu works tougher and it's priority is to kill or neutralize enemy, no matter what.

  • @kruz200

it alwasy depends on what you want. aikido is efficient but not many people can do it in the way of non-harming the potential attacker, especially if the attacker is one who is also trained.

  • he just said how to kill a United States Marine

  • aikido is very effective in law enforcement situations. I used some of the techniques found in aikido and other styles such as the wrist locks in different ways, arm locks ect, because it was a security situation and large numbers of people, the techniques that got the person under control and going were I wanted em to with the least amount of force the better. and the added bonus of it not looking like I am hurting some one even though they are feeling some pain, to get them to comply.

  • アメリカの人たち

    合気道がんばってくださいね^^

  • Im really glad that law enforcement around the world continues to employ Aikido and continues the Aikido police connection. Great work

  • bravo lor

  • lyrics please

  • Just for interest sake, I was wondering what would be most effective to learn in a limited time (I have a busy life). Aikido or Brazilian jujitsu. I tried Aikido for 3 years but couldn't get good enough to apply it to random situations. I think it might take a long time to become proficient enough to use it in real life. I don't have that time.

  • @travismccullough1938 Depends on the style you choose in Aikido. Tomiki Aikido is pretty straight forward and is more harder.

  • Depends IMHO as much on the individual sensei as the style.

  • @travismccullough1938 krav maga

  • is getting advantage over the person wrist all there is to aikido ..am jus wonder someone explain ...cause what if u miss grabbing the persons wrist:/..i kn about practic etc but ti still can happen :/

  • Classical Aikido (Ueshiba style) is peaceful since O' Sensei (Ueshiba) was a very religious man. The pre-WWII version was more combative, almost akin to its parent art, Aiki-jutsu. Post WWII Aikido became less combative (less lethal techniques) and reflected a more spiritual side. There are other Aikido 'styles' around now. Most famous is Gozo Shioda's style (which resembles more the pre-WWII Aikido) and Tomiki's Aikido which has a sport competitive tone to it.

  • frustrating, i almost understand that language....Romainian? I will have to visit sometime....

Interesting application of Aiki Technique....I recognise some of the footwork, not so different from my Sensei's in some respects....nice production values.

  • lo que están haciendo tiene mucha base en chin na

  • duet fast you fucking pussis .. feeds dogs

  • :)))

  • AIKIDO IS A MARCIAL ART NO A DEFENSE SYSTMES, ALL THIS IS RIDICULOUS, SIMPLY THIS IS NOT AIKIDO, IS A "FORM" OF DEFENSE

  • TO nimenialturo

If U are not going to debate with me why U are?

U have no rights to evaluate my aikido

You do not read with understanding

About understanding - why, do You think, these police officers are thought aikido?...to kill or to stop violence in an efficient and relatively SAFE way both for them and opponent

Physical part in every MA is important, even in aikido

There is no such a word "beligerant"

  • these men, are abusing their position , they are as violent or more violent then the men they're suppose to. I've seen them in action , in europe the abuse from police is not as it is in america.

And aikido is the art of peace, they have no such thoughts and actions. violent

  • @nimenialturo

Wake up!! Violent world requires sometimes not peace but hard action..unfortunately...And aikido was not an art of piece at the beginning..Ueshiba went to Mongolia not to propagate peace and love but he mastered his techniques by killing people. That is the truth...

  • @janubart listen buddy i'm not gonan debate with you why your are probably the worst aikido student in Poland since you didn't realise that 90% of aikido is the philisophy of peace and the art of armistice, the phisical part of aikido is in those unavoidable situations that are extremly rare,

Probably you attract violent people with your beligerant attitude.

    peace

  • @nimenialturo

LOL to the maxxx. Is this a real comment or a joke? Very funny, well done.

  • @nimenialturo Aikido came from Aikijutsu, which was an art meant to crush and destroy you're opponent, like most TMA's. Aiki is Aiki, it's not at all peacefull.

  • Actually, that is a matter for conjecture, not established historical fact. Ask Stan Pranin of Aikido Journal (probably the preeminent Aikido historian).

  • it is sad that these peasants they are studying such a noble art , meant for peace

    jandarms sucks ass

  • @nimenialturo ur an idiot

  • @KungFuKid1015 i disagree

  • @nimenialturo Ok, then tell me what is so bad about these men learning Aikido?

  • What language is this, Dutch?

  • romanian language

  • good stuff

  • se gasesc cursuri pt astfel de tehnici si in iasi?
