Now here's a point for the Americans to learn from the French - If Eliot Spitzer would have been French he would have been the next French president. However in the US they shamed him, and brought upon themselves the financial turmoil.

@neoautism If He had been French his dealings with call girls may not have come to light as the French have strict privicy laws designed to protect the rich and powerful, but since he stood on too many powerful toes i suppose he would still have been exposed, interestingly there are other US politicians who did the same thing but kept their jobs and careers

Because as a professional spitzer appears to have had huge integrity and balls. As for personal life - who is perfect. Does it detract 1% from his professional integrity and courage? Not to my eyes.
