After stopping the car, the two men (a father and son team) jumped out and sprayed the Captain's car with gunfire, killing him instantly. They then drove to a woman's home and stole her van. She jumped out (you can see her in the video) and they tried to get away. They were captured at the scene and both are in prison for life.
