i will be the first to say that idina is amazing and talented, however i don't think "florence" is a good role for her to play.

julia murney, however, was nearly perfect for the part. now THAT was an amazing performance!

I have to agree. I love Idina, and she has talent to spare, I met her back in 97 during RENT, but this part just didn't seem to fit her well.

The acoustics aren't really good. It sounds really "alive". It must be hard to sing in this venue.

I'm a singer and pianist who knows this song inside out and backwards, and I tell you. She's not. Further more I was THERE when she sung it.

Erm...So was I...

They changed quite a lot of rhythms actually. A lot of the timing was different through-out the show, and a lot of the lyrics had been changed. Therefore not necessarily out of time. again I will say rhythm is what I do best.
