I won't censor it further and confirm it as Spam, because I believe in full 100% freedom of speech and expression, which is denied within China and Tibet. The riots were horrific but why did they happen? Allow people to live their lives how they want ! I for one have respect for those that stand up for universal human rights, and very little for those intent on limiting freedom of speech, debate, protest, liberty.

Just to reiterate, the film is not supposed to be anti Chinese or anti China! The Dali Lama is NOT asking for an Independent Tibet. Yes, I agree Tibet was never a 'Shangr La', there were many problems with the system before the PLA marched in. Still, there are tragic human rights violations in Tibet and China that need to be addressed. This should be the primary concern, not nationalism

yes, there were dark dark period of tibet back in 60s,70s. but that happened to every chinese in china! that was cultural revolution we all suffered, not only tibetan. that was one big mistake that most of chinese went through. even my grandfather died because of that. but we still love the nation

Jim, I agree it would be better to have Interviews with people from Tibet and China! as well. The film was filmed in Mc Leod Ganj, India. I have been to China and Tibet since but chose not to film Interviews there. I felt it could be unsafe for the people I interviewed. I am filming alone without the back up production companies and other journalists have.

1, the old document video that was meant to show the cruelty of Chinese present government, or, using a popular word-Chinese regime, is not "Chinese regime" at all. From their uniform you can see that they were Guomintang Army, not the army under Chinese communist party.

2. Who are the people who did the talking? They are not local Tibetans. We don't know anything about what the local Tibetans think about their life.
