@5959512 that is shit shit money im bummed i want to switch carriers but i cant believe how little heli pilots are paid this is a shame.can you live a middle class life on 45k in Alaska? in the Boston area you need 100k and up.to be middle class life.good advice on collecting hours Thanks

@O7ROADKING It's getting better but just don't go after a job in Alaska. Because so many vets from the 60's have retired the salaries of Heli pilots is going up so the base fee should be closer to 60k starting, or so I'm told. This is because there is a great demand for heli pilots and there aren't enough of them around.
