umm i just have 1 problem somehow my AE cant use quiktime files so i converted it to .avi but now when i opne the fireball file i get this wierd black screen around it?

its quicktime PNG which means it takes the black out... put the transfer mode to Add and ur black will go away

it supports it.. if it can support it on 7.0 it can on CS3 after effects is also used on macs alot too which they use quicktime as their main movie thingy

The one thing that is missing is how to actually do the fire... a lot of tutorials show how to produce fire but not how to shape it so it looks realistic, transparent and not drasticly stoping on the edges (of a mask for example). Would be nice if you could do one.
