there are worlds between the hyped yu-gi-oh kiddy game and the complexity of magic. donno how this video game is but if u play the real card game its amazing how many different playing styles u can try, but if this game doesnt have an deck editor it already can only be half of the fun that the "real" game offers...
no sadly Duels of the Plainswalkers does not have a deck editor. u only have pre-constructed decks (60 cards) and while u play u unlock new cards.but all u can do is to add these cards to the existing decks which means u always will have these 60 cards from the pre-constructed decks, u cant remove cards from these decks only add new cards which will lead to donno 80 cards random decks. so unlocking cards just suck cos ur deck just grows larger if u use the new cards and will become more random

@emsattt i think the same about magic's meta, but i hate having to waste the half of a deck in lands cards...yugioh is funnier in that aspect, u r allowed to cast most of ur cards inmediatly, or wait to an event to activate the cards. i think that tha perfect tcg for me would be a mtg without lands, obviously, the stronger cards would require some casting conditions
@emsattt It is pretty annoying how there is no deckbuilding component, only card-adding. If you want to play with any decent cards you have to use a freaking 80-card deck. Still, it's entertaining for a quick casual Magic fix when you're too lazy to shuffle a stack of cardboard.
I noticed that the field that you guys play on changes in each of your videos, do you get to choose what type of field you play on, or is it that both of you play on the same type (i.e. plain, swamp ext.)
cant mix deck so far (maybe an update in the future) and the only way u get new cards is buy play single player and beating the comps. but the cards u get is for the deck ur using.

The 4/2 first strike was killing you, so yeah might as well have double blocked it. Would have lost the 3/3, but you would have had your 2/2 and could have slowed his attack significantly. Wolves+Overrun, ha.

you asked the uestion and I don't know if you already found out the answer, but with the regenerate ability it doesn't matter how much damage is dealt to the creature or from how many enemies, that creature will still pop back to life afterwards. That of course doesn't count to certain cards like the incinerate card from the red deck, but in this situation you were right not to try to kill the skeleton with multiple blockers coz it wouldn't have worked
Get lucky with the land draw on 5:19. The only reason I dont like the MTG for 360 is it is all premade decks which means no variety and all luck, but otherwise its a great game.
well it is nice that they are keeping the game alive by doing this. and trying to show new comers about the game. im a first timer and i dont think i would of tried it any other way.
it has an effect. he can use one mana to regenerate meaning it can survive the battle. its a very good card to have. and as for the download. look for it on the arcade section.
nah u get make a deck. u have to use the premade decks they got for ya. but im not sure what there gonna do in the future. if u every played yugioh on a console or something they give u a premade deck to duel with first. then get more cards to make your own deck. it might be like that in the end.. who knows.
how many different decks are there? i got the demo and considering buying full game but will it get boring quickly not many matches in the campaign etc. just not sure its the best use of my 800G nice vid
Great Game, the only problem is that about 75 % of the people you face will quit if you are winning. I even had a guy who was mad wasnt thinking and left cause he thought he was dead but if he would have payed attention he would have beat me. Just expect alot of drops online.
they made this game to have a limited card pool so that people would not be able to make over powering decks....you can use the cards you win and thats it for now........they might come out with an update down the road
as of right now.. no custom deck building. not sure if they will do an update for it but who knows. then again it might be better this way. wont have a lot of ppl with extreme decks. just for fun is all.
