  • Porthos is just sooooooo hilarios. For example: [brokes the table and watches Athos]:Uuu..May I have this dance? or [has the bottle of champaigne] :Champaigne?? THAT IS JUST SOOOOO HILARIOS!!! I love him.

  • Looking back through the comments on here, I find myself glad this is a children's movie, because it's ridiculous how many people have left immature, hotheaded, and derogatory comments. Doesn't make much sense to me, when they appear to be doing the same thing they're ragging on the movie about, but people will be people.

To me, this is the best version - the comedy alone is excellent, and anyone upset about the humor here probably feels insecure.

Each to their own; I'll stay and enjoy. :)

  • Athos: Only a fool would try and arrest us twice in one day.

    Jussac: You're under arrest.

    Porthos and Aramis: A fool.

Jussac: Are you coming peacefully or do you intend to resist?

Porthos: Oh don't be so stupid, of course we intend to resist! Just give us a moment, all right?

Porthos: Five of them, three of us. Hardly seems fair.

Aramis: Maybe we should give them a chance to surrender.

lol I love that scene. It sounds like something my sisters and I would say. <3

  • What a movie. What a cast.

  • this is actually hilarios!

  • This is way better than the new version.

  • I bet they they all had a huge musketeers gay orgy in the woods when ever they had a chance. Ohhhh spank me with your sword you naughty little musketeer.

  • I just finished watching the new one (2011) and I liked it except it will never be as good as this one for these reasons. This movie was just so CLASSIC!! The lines, the acting, the characters!! SOO GOOD!

  • the new 3 is shit compare to this one

  • a gift from the queen of america...lol wtf?

  • this version is so much better than the new one.

Porthos: ... You're right. Something red

    hahah

  • way better than paul w s anderson piece of crap

  • "I hate cannonballs!" xD

  • Kieffer Shuterland is the best!!!

  • so was The Man In The Iron Maska sequel to The Three Musketeers?,

or was it a prequel and a story all it's own?

  • @thomasbaron06 it was the sequal to the three musketeers.... hence why they're all older men in it and D'Artagnan is the only remaining musketeer while the others have either retired or moved on to other things.

  • even if i like chris o'donnell, what a bad choice for D'Artagnan, damn !! the rest of the actors, awesome !!

  • Porthos has always been my favourite... =D HAHA!

  • charlie sheen rocks!

  • Can you upload the full movie? It's one of my favorites.

  • Did I ever mention Olivier Platt looks sort of like a hippie or biker-musketeer in this film!!!

  • this movie is a hundred times better than the new one which I saw and was utter garbage

  • @Arachnaphillic How was the new one? The fight, the characters and the culture/battles?

  • @makemap it was over hammed up, not being funny but seeing a woman doing a powerslide in a corset was so stupid, frankly I found it annoying, i am sorry I love Orlando Bloom but in this he seemed camp, it was not just cheesy but it was Stilton cheese!

  • @makemap

    AWFUL!!!

had pretty sets, and great costuming.

    the compliments stop there.

  • This movie was just a great old school blockbuster. It had charm, adventure, great quotes and most importantly the best cast ever.

Kiefer Sutherland, Oliver Platt, Charlie Sheen, Tim Curry, Michael Wincott, Chris O'Donnel, Rebecca De Mornay, Gabrielle Anwar.

Come on! They don't do movies like this anymore.

I just finished watching it again and it's still great.

  • I remember watching this movie when I was like 5 I thought it was pretty bad ass.

  • thank you for putting this up i love this movie

    these are my musketeers

  • you forgot: 'Come D'Artagnan. We're saving the king!"

  • omg the original is way better than the latest. i totally forgot charlie sheen was in that one... i was like 6 when i saw this movie the first time... long long time ago.

  • 3:16-3:21 Hahahahahaha XD

  • 1:30 to 1:39 always makes me laugh!

  • I saw this movie in the theatre when it hit...I was 19 at the time. It's good to know that it hasn't been forgotten... it has soooo much charm!

  • My favorite parts in this movie were:

    2:52 to 3:04

    3:04 to 3:22

  • can someone please upload this film?

  • Oliver Platt was just the best in this!! Oh,and so was Michael Wincott!! Yummm!

Thanks, NightWingGurl for the work and especially posting it here! Cheers!

  • This film absolutely destroys the new one from 2011 which is all CGI b*llsh*t!!!!

  • the new movie has some big shoes to fill. XD I can't wait to see what they do.

  • I used to be so in love with D'artagnan in this movie. Till just now when I realized he was played my Chris O'Donnel. Daaaaammmmmmit

  • @Hanaxcore Hahahahaha...what the fuck happened with that dude... Whataduuuusch!

  • porthos the pirate!!!!!

  • the best version of the 3 musketeers :))))

  • "WHOA! UGLY!!!" XD... Epic...

I also think that the guy with two swords scene was epic, too :D !

This movie was Epic altogether! Now, If you'll excuse me, I have to go figure out where to watch it again :)...

  • 2:21 what was that he was throwing? looked like a sock with a ball in it.

Also, I always had a problem with that moment in the movie, especially for a Disney film, such a gratuitous moment of killing which contradicts Athos explaining to D'Artagnan later that Aramis takes death seriously and that's why he's praying over their dead bodies. If Aramis took death seriously, maybe he'd have a chat w/Porthos about killing unarmed people for sport?

  • Something just blew my mind.

The comic relief guy that's constantly chasing D'Artagnan throughout the movie for sleeping with his sister.

    That's Paul McGann.

    He's the Eighth Doctor Who.

  • they missed out on that shrieky ranga, D'ARTAGNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANN!!

  • this movie is awesome, i can't wait to watch the new version, partly because of logan lerman ;)

  • best movie and best book

  • "thats it, next time you drive" xD

  • sounds like....

    Cannonball!

    Oh I hate cannonballs!

  • I freaking loved this film at the time and was in love with Charlie sheen sooooo bad. It still has a certain charm but it's so cheezy lol.

  • @Elvinauk EEEEWWWW sheen, to me he was the one blight on this otherwise lighthearted version of history (Though badly altered the new one shows plans to be altered the same way) There was no Constance, D' feel in love with the queen. I loved this movie though, saw it first time for my birthday party WAY back when it was new it's a wonderful part of my memories.

  • Winning duuuh! i got tiger blood

  • Porthos!!!!!!!!!!

  • actually, this movie is the shit, I have forgot how much I love porthos, expect hes not fat enough in this movie

  • OH CHARLIE I MISS YOU !

  • "where have you been?" " deling with something, ugly!" *** I love that line! :)

  • The best porthos quote isn't on here:( "come d'artangean,(Idk how 2 spell his name) we are saving the king"

  • Porthos is so hilarious!!! "Woah ugly" "now don't be so stupid of course we intend to resist" "I was taking care of something…ugly" oh and "god I love my work" I love porthos lol

  • Musketeers with american accents lol how funny is that?

  • @LaurieJames it's better than really bad fake french accents

  • Thanks for posting the best scenes, except for when Aramis is being shot at it! "On second thought God is busy"

  • "Now don't be so stupid, of course we intend to resist, just give us a minute ok?"

  • Because it's the most famous Book ever.....the most talked about book ever, the most written about book ever :-) how is one to understand the Old Classics in their fullness, unless they have read the Bible in some detail? The priest of darwin are thieving all the good stuff out of our classic favorites :-( their burning the true content in many books with knowledge white out.

  • This was just a dreadful movie. The absolute nadir in terms of any cinematic adaptation of Dumas' novel, anywhere. The casting was so bad one suspects malign intent, or brain damage, on the part of the director; the understanding of the source material was non existant and the dialogue (or "dire"logue, as it should be called) was laughable. Really, all copies of it should be recalled and destroyed, and anyone involved in it's perpetration should be flogged and branded with the fleur de lys.

  • @ishtarg8 god thats a bit harsh? yeah its not the best movie of all time, yeah there was no source rubbish, but its a good film regardless. Its entertaining and funny, and i think worth watching.

  • @DazzledRose3193

Actually, I thought I went easy. This movie is probably the reason we're in the economic sinkhole we find ourselves at present. It is pure EVIL!! It is a product of the forces of ultimate darkness; jizzum from the balls of Beelzebub! A festering cancer in the heart of Western civilization! Anyone even remotely linked to it's creation should be given a molton lead enema, and left to die screaming. BWAHHH HA HA HA HA !!!!

  • @ishtarg8 @ishtarg8 .....................uh..............................riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. I thought the government and the banks were to blame...............and for heavens sake. 'Forces of ultimate darkeness', 'Festering Cancer' for crying out loud ITS A FILM!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @ishtarg8 haha me silly things? i didnt say that a disney film for children was and i quote a product of the forces of ultimate darkness, a festering cancer or anyone that was involved 'should be given a molten lead enema, nd left to die screaming'. yeah. Im sooo silly.

  • @ishtarg8 and actually, i dont know why im even bothering to answer back. it only making me mad. I wanna enjoy my holiday before college so bye

  • Comment removed

  • @ishtarg8 wow. aren't you just a ball of sunshine. Actually post 16. And the holiday was very nice. Thank you for for caring. Now, i would like to get on with my life, and not argue on youtube with some stranger, as i bet people are getting ticked off now, like me. so, Goodbye.

  • @DazzledRose3193

Au revoir, as the French say.

They also say, "To say Goodbye is to die a little" which I always thought was kind of poetic.

  • 0:04

    "three"

  • Rofl at 0:52

  • - Your Eminens, I demand an answer.

    - Perhaps if I knew the question...?

XD Ah, this movie always provides some good laughs! Never a bad choice if you feel a bit blue and have a couple of hours to kill. (Although Alexandre Dumas would've turned in his grave...)

  • @Aiwenil

Eminence, for chrissake. It's spelt EMINENCE. Because he's you know, eminent? As in occupying a high position? Learn to write the frickin' language properly will you? Otherwise I'm going to have an anuerysm or something, and my death will be on your hands, dude.

Plus, this movie is a piece of shit, on any terms. You want a better adaptation check out Dick Lester's 70's version. It blows this limping cripple of cinematic excrescence right out of the water.

  • @ishtarg8

Do you really get so annoyed by people spelling things incorrectly? Is it really that important to you, personally? Poor sod. It must be very difficult for you to live your life to its fullest, being distracted by something that really shouldn't touch you at all.

Eats Shoots & Leaves (Lynne Truss?) - a good bedtime read to settle you.

  • loved the movie as a kid but... why the couldn't they all put an english accent?? the american kinda ruins it...

  • @rubadoon French?

  • Comment removed

  • @Shauny1990 movies set in older times always have an english accent nowadays. i know it doesn't make much sense, but it does suit "old times" better imho...

  • love this movie

  • Luv'd it!!!! Thanks!

  • I used to have the hugest crush on the blonde one when I was younger O_x lol this was such an awesome film!

  • Oh don't be so stupid

Of course we intend to resist, just give us a moment alright?

    LMAO

Now...we are ready to resist you...

    SLMAO

  • "Where have you been?"

    "Taking care of something...ugly!"

    lmao

  • The movie has nothing to do with the book , it's just a crappy spoiler.

  • why do you say that what was diffrednt from this Movie and the Book?

  • because the plot is different. But honestly, I prefer this one far far far more than the plot of the book

  • Your words are so true!

  • Kirk Cameron?! Are you serious? hahaha.

Tim Curry and Oliver Platt make this movie! Anyone else notice that the asian guy with the swords (on the boat) is the same one from the scene in Dumb and Dummer where Jim Carey pulls out his heart? lol

  • Jim Carry was nat in this Movie.

  • Thank you captain obvious!

Did you even read the comment? That asian guy was in this movie and also in Dumb and Dumber

  • @Ameican87eagle one of my long time favorites!

  • Russian Version the best for me, i love it, ne to chto eto yerunda

  • such a good cast in this, fun movie

  • Athos looks like Obi Wan Kenobi.

  • @Lahirukevin perhaps because he IS Obi-Wan Kenobi.

  • @PirateScoundrel Incorrect, sir! It's NOT Obi-Wan Kenobi. It's actually Jack Bauer (Keifer Sutherland).

  • @Lahirukevin Hahahah!!!! He DOES look like Obi Wan! Maybe Athos was his ancestor????

  • Anyone know where I can see the movie online?

  • I love Porthos!!! He's sooo funny!!!!

  • Can anyone help me out? I remember another Musketeers movie, but it wasn't Disney-related or humorous like this one, and it was really action packed and cool. I remember it used to scare me at parts when I was little because it had this torture scene with this big fat torturer guy...god I wish I knew which one it was...

  • Might've been the Michael York version?

  • Which one is that? All I know is that it wasn't really old, probably the 90s or early 2000's, and the story was really long and in depth with a lot of adventure. D'Artagnan I think had longish blond/brown hair...God I wish I knew...that was my favorite movie at one point.

  • I just typed in the Michael York one, and that's not it...wasn't made in 1973...God I hate forgetting the names of all these movies I used to be addicted to.

  • Yeah...that was made in '73. Maybe you mean "The Musketeer"? Tim Roth was supposed to be The Man in Black that worked under Cardinal Richelieu? And that was the early 2000's...

  • I actually watched a couple videos of this, and this turns out to be it! Wow, I can't wait to watch it now that I remember it. Plus, it has TIm Curry....sweet!

  • Yeah...I had a feeling, because what you were saying had all the criteria so...enjoy, I guess ^^.

  • it was this one. fat guy is later on.

  • god, this movie sucked! We showed at my college campus - it bombed. Too much a part of the 90s and too Disney. I'm sure if you were a kid, you loved it but it didn't age well unlike the 70s one.

  • Man this brings back some great memories of when I used to sword fight for a living, defending the realm.. Good ol days.

  • 1993?

    isnt this from 1996?

  • I think it is from 1996.

  • no it's 1993

  • This is such an under raterd movie, forgotten by so many. Funny, action packed, and yet clean and to the point.

I do believe that Chris O'Donnel

( however you spell it ) is a good actor, its just that he is too baby faced, it clashes with most his characters. Since he played a younger male i think it worked out rather well.

  • Love this movie

  • One of my favorite movies

  • i think orlando bloom would be a hansome musketeer.

  • my mum is in this movie too xP

  • You forgot the "D'Arganan, don't lose your head!"

  • I LOVE this movie. Porthos is is best :D:D

  • JACK BAUER

  • Every time I see 24, I want to call him Athos.
