Both systems have there goods and bad. Ps3 has a newer technology behind it. Though that doesnt mean it can necessarily produce and outstanding count than the 360. Because of the low resolution I went to gametrailers to watch this. It was a nicer comparison. PS3 had amazing graphics, but the Xbox 360's was nice enough for me. You can use the PSP w/ your PS3 in many respects and use it as an xtra video screen and do transfers. You can load Linux onto PS3 (an operating System that kicks Microsoft's ass out of the water). I think that the PS3 looks the best out of all of them. Now, the 360 is obviously in second with the Wii in third but I honestly don't think the graphics on the Wii differ from the 360 too much.
The biggest problem is, is that Nintendo allows almost anyone to make a game for the Wii so any bottom-notch developer that doesn't know what they're doing can make a game without using the full potential of the Wii.
So basically, the PS3 did not 'need' to use BluRay discs for the games to be stored on. Seems to me they are just trying to force BluRay on people. MS didn't with the 360. The HD-DVD is an add on. They went down the right road in that respect, now if only they had designed their cooling system to be as good as the PS3 and Wii's are...
cwilbr for agruements sake the 360 is not full HD compared to the PS3 in that respect it uses an upconverter to up the games in graphics. Other that it is nice that blu-ray comes w/ it considering it is winning the HD war.
Take my word for it - Blu-Ray and HD-DVD in a few years will be fossils, both of them. Just wait until HVD is released. :P 50TB per disc. Makes both Blu-Ray and HD-DVD look like 8-track cassette tapes by comparison.

I noticed no significant difference in the 3 videos. The Wii gameplay is far better with its control scheme. BluRay holds 50GB, big deal. HD-DVD now holds 51GB. The PS3 games are simply uncompressed, the 360 games are compressed onto a DVD yet they result in the same graphics, slightly better on the 360 in most areas though.
wii has horrible graphics and a small memory. 360 and Ps3 have about the same graphics and the elite has more memory and its cheaper. So i think 360 is the best

Yes you are, 360 hardware sales are beating the ps3 monthly. Not to mention the most thing which is software. Devs see the 360 crushing the ps3 in game sales and everyone wants money, its a business. Both systems have there goods and bad. Ps3 has a newer technology behind it. Though that doesnt mean it can necessarily produce and outstanding count than the 360. Its all in how the architecture is used.I think the ps3 is neat and is built better but the 360 is better for gaming all day long . Btw the 360 does have a good bit more bandwidth.

In graphics yes. But the best system is determined by the one that will give you the most fun per dollar spent. And that depends on who you are.
Translation: IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHAT THE FUCK YOU WANT TO PLAY, AND THAT ONLY DETERMINES WHICH SYSTEM IS RIGHT FOR YOU, NOT THE WHOLE GODDAMN WORLD. Not that you were saying that the whole world should get PS3. That was a message to everyone else.

Because of the low resolution I went to gametrailers to watch this. It was a nicer comparison. PS3 had amazing graphics, but the Xbox 360's was nice enough for me. I love the Wii, but the graphics pale in comparison to the 360 and PS3. Basically, they suck. However, each system is for someone different, so if you like one over the other, that's fine by me. Y'all don't need to start a fucking retarted internet war over "U R M1cr0s0ft phan boi, u suck! PS3 FTW" and stupid shit like that.

Let's just see how long $ONY can keep up the loss per PS3 sale now that we have had a market crash. The forecast was that at the former rate they'd abandon making consoles in 12 months, perhaps that will be sooner and another company can fill the void. Apple or SEGA would be great! We need real innovation ala Nintendo.

U can use a keyboard and mouse to browse and for Linux and games that support it in PS3. PLUS+ you can play other games on Linux like Xbox, PS, Nintendo, and PC games on it, old and new!!!! And you don't have to pay to play online. Btw Blu-ray has HD-DVD on the rope warner and another mojor company switched BRD. So, now, HOW DO THE REST HOLD UP??????

You can use the PSP w/ your PS3 in many respects and use it as an xtra video screen and do transfers. You can load Linux onto PS3 (an operating System that kicks Microsoft's ass out of the water). Do the research deeply and you'll see... (for those who disagree too) it's ridiculous. There is a learning curve for it but you'll see, Bad Ass.

Xbox has the rings of death and elite has the same motherboard that causes it tho Xbox said it would make a change in Mobo's so expect problems w/ it. Xbox has more games due to the fact X came out first and the PS3 format cost developers too much to obtain and the developers don't know where to start w/ the PS3 BC it's so advanced. So expect graphics to be better when they figure out how to use it's full potential. PS3 is FULL HD

Ok, FYIO, for those of u who think they know of the PS3 and 360 compared, this is for u. The PS3 has a better CPU and the leading Graphics Card, more memory on GC, other than the Xbox 360 Elite. An HD dvd player goes for $300 which PS3 has, can't see y peeps complain about that really. The Xbox 360 has a better interface tho, PS3 doesn't trail far behind by any means. The PS3 can be used like a Wii controller in some respects. You stream stuff from ur PC to PS3 and Xbox look it up on how.

Shikakimushrooms no offense but you get a blu-ray player built in that $300 alone than you install linux and OS that beats windows hands and still play games and use a keyboard and mouse for games despite what others say. So wasted is a word that has no meaning here. A HD dvd player, a computer and a gaming console.... they are selling it way too cheap only because most people don't see all the value in it.

I think that the PS3 looks the best out of all of them. Now, the 360 is obviously in second with the Wii in third but I honestly don't think the graphics on the Wii differ from the 360 too much.
The biggest problem is, is that Nintendo allows almost anyone to make a game for the Wii so any bottom-notch developer that doesn't know what they're doing can make a game without using the full potential of the Wii.
My opinion, take it or leave it.

So basically, the PS3 did not 'need' to use BluRay discs for the games to be stored on. Seems to me they are just trying to force BluRay on people. MS didn't with the 360. The HD-DVD is an add on. They went down the right road in that respect, now if only they had designed their cooling system to be as good as the PS3 and Wii's are...

cwilbr for agruements sake the 360 is not full HD compared to the PS3 in that respect it uses an upconverter to up the games in graphics. Other that it is nice that blu-ray comes w/ it considering it is winning the HD war.

Take my word for it - Blu-Ray and HD-DVD in a few years will be fossils, both of them. Just wait until HVD is released. :P 50TB per disc. Makes both Blu-Ray and HD-DVD look like 8-track cassette tapes by comparison.

I have to agree with you the age of the ps3 and 360 are showing now. Especially the 360. Kudos to 360's integrated shader. Any how with all technologies. The winner will be attributed with cost too. I think microsoft should have went with an hd-dvd in the system. Imho, nintendo has nothing to offer at all. Except for a kiddy image.

I noticed no significant difference in the 3 videos. The Wii gameplay is far better with its control scheme. BluRay holds 50GB, big deal. HD-DVD now holds 51GB. The PS3 games are simply uncompressed, the 360 games are compressed onto a DVD yet they result in the same graphics, slightly better on the 360 in most areas though.

And cut the crap with this whole hacking the ps3 to play 360 games. Devs are having a hard enough time to port 360 games to the ps3.

That didn't stop 360 games from selling its first year. Also the 360 could not meet demands its first year. They had a huge jump once they fixed the problem. Ps3 owners do not buy games, bluray movies is what they buy I guess. Sales matter to devs, they don't care what came out first. They only care what sells. Devs have trouble porting games, ps3 still gets crap ports. It is easier to put ps3 games on the 360.

PSN- Xsatyr, yes I own one. Look at NPD numbers, obviously you do not do any research. Uncharted only sold 117,000 in NA, while COD4 sold over 1.5 million, Mass Effect near 500,000, AC was over 900,000. COD4, Uncharted and AC combined could not even sell a million. Get your facts straight. Ps3 has a lead in Japan and Spain but that does not make up for NA. Also UK in dominated by 360, seriously not trying to sound rude but the truth is the truth.
