My laptop is still under warranty, got it refurbished from Newegg. Now, should I repair it myself or send it back. I heard that they don't sell LCD video cable.
i have the smae computer and its doing sort of the same thing but its like a reflection of the top of my screen popping up at the bottom of the screen. i was just wondering if you found a salution.
@EatYourYoung666 I have the same flicker (I realized what it was flickering between later on).
I had purchased a replacement screen that I need to install on this one. I hope it is just the screen itself and not the cable (which I don't know if its the one included with the replacement screen or not).
I'll let you know how it goes. If you have any questions or want to know how I purchased a screen, just let me know.
FINALLY, after lots of customer service. I found the solution. THEY DO NOT SELL, so you have to e-bay, amazon, find your own way to this. PART NO: 140298011 WHAT IT IS: LCD Video cable.
This is the only way to fix it, and you might have to replace it again. They might have changed the wire length to compensate for them stretching from opening/closing your lid. The problem was with a bad video cable design, too short and stretchy. Pulls the wires from your plugs under the hinges.
check this one to fix it watch?v=xmSK_eTKHN4
