@petercox9 Why do you think he got on drugs? As far as I know he didn't. To be honest, for a lot of these performers there just wasn't too much room for them to blow up. I hate to bring color into it but I can't deny that as a factor. There were only so many quality roles for people of color in the industry. Jesse's career looked promising for a while but I'll say he hasn't done too bad, he works pretty steadily. I do agree that what happened to Leroy was sad, but he made the best of it.

@Nikelea i was inquiring whether or not jesse was on drugs. i was not making a factual declaration. i liked jesse. however, often when certain stars drop off the scene for decades at a time, drugs is a factor. i definitely agree that colour matters; but especially as a male performer, you have to be able to diversify. the competition for the routine, macho stereotype roles is fierce. that's why it's smart to take on a sensitive role or even something sexually unconventional.

Janet has always been beautiful. 'In showbusiness most of her life like MJ. I think that Janet should have tried her hand at sketch comedy too. She did great impersonations of Cher and Mae West, when she performed with her family in Vegas. She and Randy played off one another well.

She was seduced by what her brothers did for a living and heavily influenced by MJ. While she never had ANY of MJ's natural/raw talents, she had every bit of his determination. She's a good actress too.
