  • i wonder. why did his show ever cancel in the first place???

  • @CyrusRKO ...Duh....too many sax solos!

  • @CyrusRKO Last 2 years of his show, his ratings went down, due to the market getting very crowded after having the field to himself for awhile.

  • Without Arsenio, there would not be B.E.T

Without Arsenio, Letterman and Leno would be even more stale.

Without Arsenio, the only strong black people on FOX wouldve been the Wayans family.

  • @TorrenceEightTwo This show was never on Fox.

  • #RIP Luther Vandross

  • thanks to the racist his show was cancelled because of minister louis farrakhan came on his show they told him him or the show

  • Arsenio Hall Show was the best ever

  • Rest In Peace Luther

  • The Arsenio Hall broke grounds on late night talk shows like no other. There hasn't been a show like this on late night tv again since. I miss it.

  • It's weird man. About the time that I was in middle school Arsenio was THE MAN and one of the biggest stars of the early 90's. Now instead of "kicking Leno's ass" he does skits for him and nobody remembers who he is. Wtf?

  • I love luther vandross, it seems like he had a lil fruity tutty in him by the way he was acting. I know he had sum sugar in his cup but damn don't show it. I miss him and this show.

  • Nancy Wilson & Debbie Allen <3

  • Good Memories!!!!! Unfortunately, you cut off Luther and wasted all that time on Whoopi.

  • I so upset it got cut off before luther sang...

  • THIS WAS A FANTASTIC LATE NIGHT SHOW! CULTURALLY RELEVANT FROM EPISODE 1 TO THE VERY LAST SHOW!

  • I DON'T KNOW??? I JUST MISS ARSENIO, MICHAEL JACKSON AND EDDIE MURPHY HERE!!!!!!!!

  • THANKS FOR SHARING SUCH A GREAT MOMENT IN HISTORY THE BEST TALK SHOW HOST WHO MADE IT FUN BACK THEN & ALWAYS WAS DIFFERENT WITH HIS SHOWS & IT WAS LIKE HE WAS @ HOME HAVING AN INTERVIEW WITH FOLKS & ONLY HOST TO PREVIEW HIP HOP @ ITS BEST & GIVE A FORUM TO ALL WALKS OF LIFE...THANKS FOR THIS!!!!!!

  • Not a funny bone in douche's body. I wonder how he survived as long as he did.

  • @aniketranade well maybe he wasnt funny to you, but he still part of pop culture and the show was phenomenal

  • man too bad i wasnt around to watch this show..

if only they had it on dvd i would buy every single copy of it

  • GIVE THIS MAN HIS SHOW BACK......!!!!!!!!!!

  • Arsenio Hall filled a void that I never knew existed.Thank you for making the 1990's bearable. You did alot of good my friend; a lot of good.

  • Thanks for posting this but I wish you didn't cut Luther's song off though(must have been a music publishing) and it's funny Whoppi brought in some Crystal before Jay-Z made it popular four years later. It's kind of sad to see this because Arsenio was cut off the air too soon and when he told i Luther when you're skinny, you're happy. Man I wish Luther would had look inside himself & kept it going. He would still be here today. Now what Whoppi said about Paramount was exactly right.

  • I never saw this! Thanks for posting.

  • I watched this show & cried. Paramount did him wrong & respect to Whoopi for letting the world know what they done to the Baddest to EVER run Late Night tv. There has been NO other since ArsenioHall that has brought it! I was a DEVOUT watcher!

  • Hopefully oprah will let him get a show on her new network.hed kill it

  • @cwayz08 Oprah only getting white people shows on her new network.

  • watching this show, it makes me feel soooo proud to be BLACK!!!!

  • outstanding!!!!!!!!!!!! show

  • Hands down, the best nighttime show, ever!!!!!!!

  • I know I miss Arsenio's show....and that's on the real. Did ya'll see when he screamed in front of Nancy Wilson? I hollered.

  • Personally I think TBS should have given Conans spot to Arsenio. Luther Vandross was right. Americas later night fare hasd never been the same since Arsenio left. He was my generations (X) Johnny Carson. He really came on the scene at the right time and place. It was the golden age of hip hop Rap R&B. Its really ashame that it took 15 years for George Lopez to be given his own show. I wonder what The Arsenio Hall show would be like today? Oh wel, Thank God for youtube.

  • @Blaise7675 Maybe the title would simply have been Arsenio.

  • lol arseniooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo... (i click on part 2) ..oooooooooooooooooo hall

    xD

  • Its a shame.. Its just a shame that AH was muscled into ending his show. I know so many people who watched it since its inception and it was such a ground-breaking time for him to come out . He came out at the right time.. the 90's were great musically for "The new Jack Swing" and he supported so many growing hip hop artists. Not only did he have African American actors, he had white actors and hispanic..etc.he truly spoke to the heart of Americas youth.I was trully saddened to see him leave :(

  • know it was because he had louis farrakhan on his show and the white people who owned the conpany wanted to control him and so they used that to get him off the air because he passed carson and jay leno in ratings

  • Please explain.
