With the internet we can advance ourselves by accessing billions upon billions of encyclopedic material. A wealth of knowledge to take advantage of yet people still would rather use it to look at pornographic material, watch videos of people injuring themselves, use social pages to pointlessly type about their plans for the day, and use it as a medium to insult people in the comfort of their own homes. It should be obvious that knowledge is power.
