thanks for your reply, i would love to know how to do the raised hand signal as the cue. i know you bend down teaching the down so the hand signal can be pointing down , but how do you do it with the raised hand without bending down?
For Open (which is what I'm demonstrating in the video) I just use a verbal signal. The dog in the video (Dewy) was also taught a raised hand as a drop signal (for Utility). I haven't decided what I plan to do for my younger dogs yet as far as a down at a distance hand signal.
