  • A little trick to improve your walkcycle: delete the last frame, then make the animation into a cycle. It prevents that slight pause between loops.

  • Hello guys. I was the previous owner of rconan17 account until someone hacked it. I longer have access to this account anymore so if you like my videos and have any question, please visit my new youtube channel. Thank you

  • how long did it take you to do this?

  • @Ashleybradbury It took me about 3 days But I spent most of the time learning how to use the software. Btw I was the owner of this youtube account until someone hacked it.

  • This is awesome. What are you talking about> (So it still has many flaws, but I hope u will enjoy it). Believe me, you are set.

  • checkt mal meine top cartoons

    youtube.com/user/MarcMagix

  • First animation, impressive, your on your way keep on going.

  • lol no one is alone does the title says BUT! in the background at ca 1:06 there is a girl all alone >.<

  • How did you get it to retain such great quality after exporting? All my exports are lower quality bitrate shit, sketchy, you know?

  • @kablamman2007 It depends on what format you exported your movie in. Try to export your video out in .mov file.

  • @kablamman2007 Or you can finish your video then move it to Sony Vegas Pro 9 then render it then put it on youtube.!

  • @kablamman2007 mess arround with the formats and i change my projects to 720 by 720 pixel scale, i hope that helps.

  • @kablamman2007 Well almost all my toon boom animations are in 1080p X 1094p HD if u use toon boom studio 4.5 then download the movie in quciktime player and be prepared before you download your video you should press settings and size and then pick the size wich contains the biggest amount of pixels

  • Aww that was so cute! :D I love it.

  • great

    go ahead

  • Very nice, the music was perfect for it too.

  • Nicely done

  • i like it

  • Wonderful

  • That? was your first Toon Boom cartoon??? Im still trying to figure out how to begin....where are good tutorials?? Thanks

  • @rockpainterx I've been finding tutorials for toon boom but still no luck. I learned the basic stuff from the tutorials that came with the software. Also you can get some tutorials from the official toon boom website.

  • @rconan17 excellent animation, can you make a tutorial? it `ll be so helpfull, please help us!

  • @rockpainterx

search for widows peak studios toon boom tutorials on youtube, they are really good.

  • @rockpainterx try youtube, they show you LITERALLY everything!!!!

  • that maked me cry ;(

  • Very good. Loved it.

  • I got this software today

    and it won't work,

    I'm so depressed.

  • very nice !! we are buying toon boom for our original music videos-- looks great this application, really hope that isnt to hard to edit well because i have already to edit and produce all the audio recording with the band , the video with sony vegas 9 pro and now i really want to get this this animation software to make cool stuff with the video clips--nice man

  • @bbuteo Thanks, and good luck with your music video! =D

  • haha cool animation. But the problem i have with toon boom is that,

when i make say a ball when i create a new frame my ball disapears. How do i keep my ball in the movie for every frame i make?

    Im noob (:

  • @JundoYoupo You can copy and paste it in place or redraw it. You can also add it to library and reuse it anytime you want by just dragging it out from library.

  • @rconan17 No i'm sure theres another way to keep it in. like activating something i don't know. But i have seen it in tutorials.

  • @JundoYoupo

also if you right click on the cell and click "extend exposure"

you can extend the image for as many frames as you like.

  • i like the jumping girl she is awesome :DD

  • good job for your first try! actually, this is exellent

  • i like this.. =) nice

  • pretty awesome

  • Good job, seems like you have previous skills as a drawing illustration artists. You can mainpulate pegs very decently. In Toonboom I only use expsure sheet and never mess with pegs, it's like ancient greek to me.

  • so a Ferrari Enzo just passes by ( 1:04 )

  • what a big love :P

    I love the way a girl jumps a skipping-rope!

  • Your drawing was really good i cant even draw that good and the characters were simple but it really goes good with the story and the squash and stretch on the ball was really good, please check out my animations on my channel and comment on my work and tell me what should i fix on them.

  • you could just download toon boom then go to web and find the crack, thats what internets for.

  • could some body give my the link to get this toom boom thingg

  • hmm i think toonboom is far more easier to use than flash

  • Toon boom is amazing...

    Literally, the possibilities are endless.

  • this is amazing

    thanks alot

  • Nice work

  • quedo exelente!! lo que no entiendo es porque el mocoso iba tan triste...

  • hi i think it was good for first:) just keep it up man:)

  • u have to buy it? u cant get it for free?

  • good but the story suck

    sorry!

  • how much does this program cost?

  • @MyMadnessF5 $330

  • That's awesome. I noticed that the legs seem to be reused frames instead of done over again giving him a circular gait; his legs are spinning. They also seem to be sliding along the ground. Keep up the good work. I was thinking of getting toonboom, what's your opinion on it?

  • i love toon boom!. i think its a great program to make 2D short animations. And its easier to learn than Flash.

  • Thanks! I'll look into it, but i still have to learn flash because i chose animation as my career^^. college is hard XP. This looks easier and better than animation studio too. You don't have to learn programming with this one?

  • no you dont need to learn programming with toonboom

  • i need help, how do i save a drawing/character for later use ina different toon boom project, uz im a bad artist and mostly writer...

  • @Ram750 Toon Boom is better than flash for animating by far - it's what most major animating companies use. Disney just released, "The Princess And The Frog" which was 100% done in Toon Boom. Flash is 70% for developing web content and only about 30% for animation (figuratively speaking) only thing is.... Toon Boom is quite a bit more expensive.

  • @Iluvemybuds you have to buy it.

  • What's the name of the piece of music?

  • @goodhamad

I agree with you i love the animation you should make a show with voices etc lol

  • im scared....

  • Im trying to upload a toon boom animation myself but it either says theres an error or just doesnt load up at all

what video format did you use?

I have tried quick time and windows media player but still nothing any ideas?

  • i exported the movie in .mov

  • awsome vid

  • omg great for a first animation looks almost really expert

  • cool shit dude... : )

  • cute.

  • toon boom is awesome man easier than macromedia .....

  • Stunning! Really, really good. I've just got ToonBoom and seems a little tricky, should be good fun though.

  • How did you make the building's, ETC?

  • scyse ne

wwas this hard and if it was how long did it take?

  • Since it was my first 2D animation. It took me a week to learn some basics of how to use toon boom and another week to do this animation. If you are new to this program, then you should look for some free toon boom tutorials to get used to it first. Overall Toon boom is a pretty good program to make cartoon. Good luck!

  • Toon boom allows you to zoom in like that???

  • yes

  • its better quality than my first effort. i did batman stuck on a toliet

  • well done.

  • Good job! A bit choppy but very nice for being a first attempt. When's your next one coming out?

  • Thanks. I have just uploaded a new one yesterday. Please check it out and hopefully you will enjoy it.

  • Hey RConan17: TWO QUESTIONS: I want to buy this program...what version do you have and how much did it cost you? Also, is it difficult to learn?? Thax a mil....Chulo

  • Mine is version 4. They have Toon Boom 5 now and it cost about $399. The education version cost like $140-$160 if you cant afford the full retail version. For me I think ToonBoom is easy to learn. It is kinda like Flash If you are familiar with Flash then you will have no problem with this program. Good luck!

  • Very well done!

  • That was really good actually.

  • Wow, great job for a first!

I thought he was end up stepping into the street or jumping off a bridge.

  • in the beggining the girl wasnt jump roping in the alley
