It takes two to make a child. Obviously, the father has some say into it, but in this society it's not as common for the father of an unwed or wedded mother to own up to his responsibilities. That's not saying that the mother isn't accountable and all blame should be pointed on her. It's a personal decision, and if the woman feels that she must do it, we shouldn't judge them. It's not our place to judge. The courts shouldn't have right to tell them what they can and cannot do with their bodies.

There are people who say these babies don't feel pain. If you walk into a nicu however (remember those babies are still supposed to be fetuses) you will find that they are sensitive to even the slightest touch. Their nerves are still being formed and they have an extremely thin layer of skin. In short, yes they feel pain. Imagine the pain that they could feel during an abortion.....hmmmm?

By 10 wks gestation, the baby has developed the body parts required to experience pain: (1) a sensory nerve to feel the pain and send a message to (2) the thalamus, a part of the base of the brain, and (3) motor nerves that send a message to that area. (I don't recall hearing the doctor say anything about fetal pain in this movie. But you saw how the baby reacted while being killed.)

You will see that the narrator, twice, correctly demonstrated the actual size of the 12 wk unborn baby. The larger fetal model is used as a prop (during the abortion) to illustrate the position of the baby while the abortionist is killing her. Obviously, the prop had to be large enough for the viewer to see it.
