This video is about a murder case, in which Jay Chou and Yu Hao are the detectives in it. One day, they saw a blue rose similar to the one present in the crime scene, and tried to catch the waiter who had it, but lost him. Then they went back to the restaurant to get the address of the waiter. They went to his house to search through it.

During it, Yu Hao (the true murderer) remember that when he was killing the old man, the waiter, who was taking pictures of nature at the time, saw the scene and took pictures of him killing the man (the waiter remembered that he saw Yu Hao in an argument with the man, and then took the blue rose from the restaurant and killed him as revenge). Thus, Yu Hao wanted to go to the waiter's house, shoot and kill him, and burn the pictures/evidence.

He then hit Jay Chou on the head, and faked his own injuries to pretend that they were both a victim of the "murderer" later on when Jay was carrying his partner, he noticed the ring he was wearing correspond to some clues with the murder, and the ring he saw on the hand which had hit him, and knew that his partner was the murderer. But because Yu Hao was his friend, he did not want to expose him. There =)

That was so goodd. The MV and the song. I love the mysterious feeling to the song and I like how creative the plot is. It was very interesting to follow. Very unexpected for his partner to be doing the crime. The mask thing was a little eerie, but it was still very good.

Apart from a couple obvious editors mistakes (The fact Computers that advanced and Aston Martin Vanquish's were not around in the 1980's, it was a good video. I like how it was set in the United Kingdom, although I have to say he did glamorise our country a bit much haha, sure London has some history but most of the UK is just Urban. lol...no offence, but can't you see that jay was playing to role of a detector? if he does act with an excessive emotion, then he would make this mv fake + unrealistic for in reality, detectives do avoid showing their emotions to prevent their thoughts from leaking out.

i have to say that im greatly impressed by this mv, it incorporates well with the lyric + distinctive melody. also, the director did an excellent job in arranging all the pieces together.

my guess would be that the man murdered was related to the murderer, and he must have provoked the murderer somehow, perhaps fired him from work(as you can see from the radio where he was scolding him). as a result, the murderer revealed his dark side and decided to avenge his insult.
