@zerox169 lol i know, that's how they built the toy to allow suspensions to work and to be small enough to fit inside the body below the chest (cab) in robot mode... gotta compromise for one of the greatest toy i never had when i was 10!!!

When you were little, you probably G1 Optimus. This is MP04 Optimus, and since he was first released in 2003 I don't think you had him as a kid. :)

You had the original release, this is the Masterpiece version.

This one is a foot tall and made of die-cast metal, not to mention it has a much more difficult transformation and a much better robot mode.

The one you had as a kid was about 5 inches tall, and looked basically like a truck standing on legs (not that I don't love G1 Optimus, but the Masterpiece version is the better made figure).

i really liked to have some sort of 80s element there, hence the warping effect... i was thinking of using that initially for the energy axe, but i didn't want to waste the ion blaster that i had already modeled lol

i will probably try again in another format but as a separate file, as i'm using this one in my Lively room and didn't want the room to be too loud :P
