Grr... I miss this, I remember hunting for my prismatic, then in the next expansion hunting the Djinn, and then going to KoS, and hunking dragons and such... Good times.
I don't get it at 2:16-2:18, "And purple if it is scaled down for mentoring." Can someone explain me that? Oh, and blue means you can also wear it, right?
When you mentor someone, that means you are scaled down to their level. Therefore your existing equipment turn purple. However, you can also wear purple equipment if it was already on you when you mentor, but their stats are scaled like it is an equipment of your mentor level.
Your equipment APPEARANCE color will not turn purple.
The regular (unmentored) armor background will be blue. When you mentor down, for example...
Level 50 to level 10. Any equipment that you are wearing that is over level 10 while mentored will have a background of purple, telling you that they are not as effective as if you were unmentored.
oh wow. the heroic op seems very similar to FFXIs skill chains. interesting... I've been thinking about trying EQ2... and it seems to be covering many things I miss about the games I've left and combining them into the things that drawed me to the next. currently taking a break from WoW. Considering a move to EQ2... =P these videos are very helpful.
@Feightality I am a convert from WoW. EQ2 is in alot of ways entirely more fun to play than WoW...WoW is just to the same now-a-days. only thing that changed in WoW from Vanilla is the game got ALOT easier....Switch to EQ2.

Well, I don't REALLY get that, but when I get this game on January 29th on my birthday, I'll get the game and I'll figure the purple equipment.
