I really like the lights and front overall. I think that the interior needs to blend the lighting with the interior of the Mini Inspired by Goodwood. I like the function doors, but think they should look more flush and subtle. The trunk is a great idea, but I do not like the rear lights at all. I think the lighting around the car should be less neon looking and more of a flush look that we see in Tron: Legacy.

this is the mini i liked! not the new coupe... thats horribly unbritish for me. not the mini as we know it. But the design on this, i really believe has that london city design that's simple in some ways, dynamic in others. Maybe i'd just simplfy the sides of the car and spend more time on functional design than mood lighting. still i think the front is perfect, esepcially the headlights.

you can't say it has the heart of a 1959 mini when the car isnt even british anymore. to me mini is about being fun and basic, and what you've done is just complicated everything, there isn't anything simple about the look of the car and the technology on the inside isn't exactly simple either. ye the ideas are great but do it on the other BMW cars. keep mini what it is. just when i've grown to like the new coopers you make this. not cool

i think the idea of putting lights as an outline of the car is a brilliant idea. stylishly innovative and a major safety bonus. lit up outline of cars would make them much more noticeable at night. not only can you then see the car but you would also be able to tell what sort of car it is. such a simply idea yet somehow noone has every really bothered with it. and even if it doesnt turn out to make such a huge difference, itll still contribute something and every little helps or?

@Arsalaan1231 Good point, did not consider snowy conditions, from experience going down hill on freezing mountain in a 350nm rwd BMW, its not the most pleasant experience. Though it doesn't snow anywhere near where I live.

And Yes I kinda Hate smart cars (except the old roadster). But the new Mini cars don't seem related to the old one, they use quite a lot of fuel compared to other small cars (eg: Fiats), and are a bit bigger.

As it is, there is no widespread system for either electric or ethanol. I know I often drive farther than the typical electric car's range and think about how few stations sell ethanol. Anyways, the few people who can comfortably use an alternative fuel vehicle are the people who are the least impact.
