I didn't even know Duane Eddy recorded Rumble. Really glad you posted this. Thanks. I was messing around trying to find some other versions of Link Wray's Good Time Joe, then decided to explore some other covers of Rumble and found this. Duane Eddy was my favorite back in my school days.
@justmusicandme Ablolutely, bro. If you weren't there, keep your mouth shut cuz you don't know. Duane was (and still is) the man. He pioneered the sound. I hear so many saying he can't play, and to them I sa "bullshit". He can hold his own with any picker anywhere, anytime, on any song - even today. He is 72 and still playing and teaching a whole new generation how to do it. I have been a fan for more years than I like to think about. Rock on Duane - you da man. Rockabilly will live forever.
This song appears on Tarantino's movie Pulp fiction a think another version mmm...or not?

Wray all the way on this one. It's a more edgy version.
