@champ1114 not autotune, ProTools; musical artists do it all the time; it's just like models and photoshop, but every time you get a raw album, I know some rock/metal band recently (within the last 2-3 years) recorded an album specifically without ProTools and it was real nice. Autotune is something different. This is just pitch adjustment, frequency gates, etc etc etc to polish the sound. Adds more value to live performances since most music is pirated these days anyway.

RELATIVELY RARE. doesn't mean that it's never used. but its not as common as most people think, and it doesn't take away from the singer's ability to sing, it's simply an effect. like compression on drums.
