Let me ask you something, or anyone that knows. I have come to learn that Jesus real name was Yehoshua or short Yeshua. Then I heard some say it is spelled with an A like Yahoshua or Yashua. Mostly by the sacred name movement. But I heard from experts that there is no A prenouncement in Hebrew. And that the Israëlites changed God's name from EHYEH (I AM) to AHYAH (I WILL BE) because I AM sounded too unsure. So is it spelled EHYEH ASHER OR AHYAH ASHER or both is right? Thanks.

Yah was invented by the Israelites at a later stage. Go far back to Genesis. What is the first thing in Genesis? ELOHIM created the heavens and earth. Not Yahweh. You will find "el elohe yisrael" which literally means EL THE GOD OF ISRAEL.

The only difference is the pronunciation. The segol vowel (usually "eh") is nonexistent in ancient Hebrew and therefore the Teimoni's say it like a patach.
