While I agree with you that every human has rights, I disagree with you on it is given by The Universal Dec of Human Rights. We, and EVERY living creature, have rights which have been given to us by the creator. For me that creator is God, Father of Jesus Christ. The right I believe every living thing has is, the right to live without fear of being murdered, tortured, starved, or abused in any way, shape or form. Every living thing needs love, kindness, and compassion.
It is a pipe dream. Everyone is entitled to same rights and privilege? No you are entitled to what you earn or what your parents have earned. Tell me that the bum on the streets should have the same privilege as bill gates who built the shitiest operating system in the world. Yes I believe you!
All I know is that we are one race, HUMAN! (At least last time I checked! Though a few of us have been mistaken for Klingon! LOL) I hope we do not have a "New World Order" but just a world where we all get along! We are too much of a variety of beautiful people! Timoteo
If you consider the treatment of the homeless, illegal immigrants, the 5000 arrested under the Patriot Act, mandatory prison sentencing, homosexual rape in American Prisons, income tax, the "war on drugs," ADHD, and morality laws, there is almost not a single Declaration of Human Rights that is upheld by the government of the United States of America.
People with ADHD are generally not given the treatment and assistance that they should. A significant number of convicts have learning disabilities, at a much higher percentage rate than in the general population.
"Success" in the economic system, and by extension in our society, is strongly correlated with success in school.
@atwaterpub Fair enough. Then wouldn't you agree that the problem is also in the education system? I assume you are referring to the US when you talk about a significant number of convicts having learning disabilities. However, many successful people have learning disabilities (Tom Cruise, Albert Einstein, Jay Leno, Thomas Edison, Winston Churchill to name a few).
@stefpereira44 I stand by my original comment on the "Declaration of Human Rights:"
There is almost not a single provision of the "Declaration of Human Rights" that is honored by the laws of the United States of America. On a personal note: Not a single employer I have worked for has honored the employment provisions of the Declaration of Human Rights. I have been professionally employed in the USA for 30 years and every single employer has lied to me about the nature of my employment.
The only unalienable Rights we have are: “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” These Rights are bestowed onto us by the Laws of Nature at conception. You are confusing human edict, which is part of Natural Law, as rights. The Laws of Nature are predictable, where Natural Law is subjective. My channel video should clear things up so we may focus on our true Rights.
people that don't have these rights in the US are Native Americans, Native Americans don't have these rights, not yet anyway. Life, liberty, and security for All, including Native Americans in the US.
Doesnt appear to be recognised in the UK where thousands of children every year are being stolen for forced adoption; even Tory councillors grandchildren.

I lived my life right according to 2 Holy Books, I've seen so much hate in this WORLD it makes me wonder do Human Right really has an existance in this WORLD. Michael Jackson was right, they pple of shame put him down all because he had a BIG HEART FILLED WITH LOVE for the human race no matter what color and he became a victim as well, he has a song about it and if you are a Michael Jackson fan you know what song Im talking about. GOD needs to come rescue his pple now and Im tired so I'll wait
You know, it makes me sad to see so many jaded and bitter comments on these "Universal Declaration of Human Rights" videos on youtube. Instead of responding by going "Pssshhht, whomever believes in this is in a dreamworld, it will never come true, idiots", how about we look at it like "You know, it will be tough, and may take a while, but lets all work towards it." Ideals like these do not happen over night, but it is our choice to be apathetic and do nothing, or push forward and make an effort.
@DeathNRebirth Not where ppl like you exist. But where ppl exist who believe in these standards defend them and live by them then it will come to pass.
@LER77 What do you mean, "people like you"? I certainly do "believe in these standards" and "live by them", so i am not entirely certain what you are accusing me of.
@DeathNRebirth of course these ideals won't happen overnight, I completely agree. Come on, this was created 60 years ago, a clear indication that it IS taking time. But with news and media more accessible than ever, I hope more people will open their eyes to the fact that this IS a possibility
these are not human rights organisations they are there to protect only criminals. where are human rights when israel kills thousands of palestinians. when USA kills millions of civilians when you cant speak uniformly there is no need for false propaganda about human rights organisations. to a common man human rights organisations are there just to blackmail and crush the weak governments.
Unfortunately your words are misunderstood as propaganda themselves. As soon as you speak out against Israel and the U.S.A, people will suspect your motives.Perhaps we expect too much of "our" Leaders-I mean, look at Obama-he is applauded and given near worship even before he achieves anything! People DO need hope though, but let us hear the voices of ALL, critical or not.
The Universial declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) is the only written text that manages to give hope for our common future. We should all protect it above all else.
The world is truly a cynical place. But that cynicism comes only from cynical people of lesser or no morals, supported by those who stands idely by doing nothing.
All that is needed for evil to win, is for good people to do nothing.
Today is my birthday, well okay today is a day that I share with people globaly as a birthday.Bottom line, we must individually govern ourselves, and the people that courageously author proclamations such as this, are simply pioneers building a path for us as a race, dare I say a sensient species, to govern ourselves with. Happy Birthday Global Human Rights Day!
They need to use the word one or one's instead of him! And what of environmental responsibility? And protection from abuse and rape? Appreciate the effort. wish it was more sincere.
1. Life isn't fair. If you expect it to be you'll always be disappointed.
2. Not everyone is created equal. Whether you start life at the bottom or middle of the socio-economic ladder, you life's worth is determined not by how far you climbed up, but whether you held your virtues intact along the way.
3. "Justice", ultimately, depends on some person or organization using force to see it carried out. This concentration of power ALWAYS leads to corruption.
2-Everyone is created equal in rights, that is what they say.Of course some are born rich or poor, ugly or pretty, sane or ill, intelligent ot stupid. But we all have the same rights before the law.if you are born in the lowest level of USA your are privileged compared with Somali children or Afghan women.
3-Justice:We have the right of a fair trade.
THIS ARE GOALS,NO REALITIES BUT NO WIND IS GOOD IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHERE YOU WANT TO GO.
Who will enforce your equal rights? Your trade rights? Laws are not worth the paper they're written on unless the organization enforcing those laws are beyond corruption.
Now name a single law enforcement organization that is beyond corruption.
Sadly, turning a blind eye to human rights is acceptable sometimes in the eyes of the major powers because no-one will punish them for it. British soldiers did terrible things to my father who was just an innocent man walking home from a day at college. No-one has ever answered for it.
the only article that im concerned about is the one that spoke about anyone has the right to obtain sanctuary from prosecution in another country. doesn't that mean that crimminals can use this as well as refugees?
It states that "This right may NOT be invoked in the case of prosecutions genuinly arising from non-politicle crimes", so it is saying if you commited a legitimate crime against a person, organisation, or body, this right will not be applicable for you.

///: THE DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS :///
is the main TRAFFIC SIGN on the way to the next EVOLUTION of human
being after the FIGHT against RELIGIOUS DICTATION and the FIGHT FOR
INDIVIDUALITY, FREE SPEEKING, FREE SPIRITUALITY and the FIGHT TO FEEL
and THINK FREE.
Its gain will not be only for humans also for the hole planet, for every living being.
But alone every one of us is helpless against the dictation of our time today.
SO BEGIN TO SPEAK ABOUT IT, ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS N THINKINGS.
