  • Didn't do it in one day, says it all your a RIDER GIRL welcome to the fold........

  • @Tyler387387

Nah man i would go smaller under 600cc you can learn on bigger bikes but its alot harder to do

  • @mistaseanbon i can't get 600cc, price too high (not worth it for only a year) and i think 250 is already very fast and big

  • wow your lucky your mom didn't flip out on you. i think most parents will make the children get rid of a motorcycle.

  • hey guys, i really wanna get a cbr150, is it a good starter bike?

  • @tyler387387 I wish we had those smaller bikes in the States. From what I've seen of the vloggers in England, it's a great little bike. You can't go wrong with Honda, either. Bulletproof engines.

  • @lauriejennifer ok i am gonna try my friend's honda sonic tomorrow (125cc) then next week on my friend's cbr150

  • @tyler387387 just get a 600 the 250 power is ok but u really dont want anything less then 30hp it wont b able to go on the freeway

  • Hey, nice vid, cool bike! btw you did ur road trip on the ninja right? How was it? ( sour back, how comfortable etc... )

  • @lauriejennifer oh cool ill take a look, iv'e got a 2009 lime green zx-6r, think im going to upgrade soon to a 1000cc, cant wait :)

  • Anyone who even looks at a Ninja 250 wants to ride it. It's that pretty.

  • @nasausaf2 It is a sweet bike. It's fun to ride, too. I had a blast on mine. Sometimes I miss it, but the supermoto does suit me better.

  • Wow. I wish my mom was that cool. She didn't speak to me for almost 2 months when I got my Ninja ZX6R. And she threatened to kick me out of the house if I didn't pay rent.

  • @01parrott Well, I hadn't lived at home since I was 18. I bet your mom was concerned for you. With the rent thing, she was probably trying to encourage a general sense of responsibility in you, since riding a bike requires and assumes a level of responsibility.

I hope you two have worked it out since. Cherish your family relationships, man. You'll miss them when they're gone.

  • hey did how long it took you to learn how to actually get set on your own bike beside the training thnx.

  • @indiandhvl It's different for everyone, and I'm constantly learning and growing as a rider. I started on a 49cc scooter and had that for 4 months (2300 miles). Then, I got the Ninja 250 and took the MSF course, and got my license. I practiced a lot. I rode a lot, in all conditions. I had experienced riders take me under their wing and teach me.

I'm not sure if this is answering your question.

  • lookin' to get my girl a ninja 250 for her 1st bike. How did you feel poppin' ur 2-wheel cherry on one?

  • @fireguy777 It was a fantastic bike! I started on a 50cc scoot, so even the Ninja 250 felt like it had "way too much power" at first. Honestly, for a completely new rider, it does. And experienced riders love them for how fun they are to throw around and romp on. They hold their resale value very, very well. Insurance is stupid cheap, and gas mileage is awesome (around 55-65 mpg, depending on rider and riding). Big thumbs up from me. See also: CBR250 (fuel injected!).

  • @fireguy777 nah id go for a r6 and have it restricted to 33bhp (250cc) that way the one bike will last a long time and the r6 is suprisingly a very good beginners bike was my first bike and never regret it still have it and 5 other bikes hahah :) but yah its a very light bike and easy to control at normal speeds

  • poor kawa

  • @Corse1337 What for?

  • @lauriejennifer just a feeling ...

  • @Corse1337 You feel bad the bike went in the rain? Or what? I loved this bike. I put 12k miles on it in 9 months. I rode the piss out of it, and kept up with maintenance. I'd say the bike had a great life.

  • Props to a chick rider! And riding over 9 hours in the rain too... dayam... I know a lot of dudes that are scared to even try to ride a motorcycle. I know a lot of dudes that don't ride in the rain. Rain or shine I'm on my gixxer.

  • @deepdriedspam Thanks, mate! I'm still riding! Ride safe!

  • Haha Grandma is a cool lady!~

  • @Frejborg Thanks, mate! I agree (though I'm admittedly biased LOL).

  • @lauriejennifer Have you ever taken her for a ride?

  • @Frejborg No. Unfortunately, she's a bit too old and frail for the risk. Even a small fall would be very detrimental, she has health issues, and her balance isn't the best. She's not kidding, though: If she was a bit younger, she'd totally take me up on it.

  • @lauriejennifer, Nice family, I can see how caring and understanding you are of each other. I had a similar experience when I showed my family my bike! All the best, stay safe!

  • time for a 1000

  • @lightbulb2ko7 LOL! That would be fun. I think I'd rather have a 600, if anything. And I would just have one as a dedicated track bike. I've taken my motard out to Heartland Park several times, and that course is just too wide open for my little supermoto. A salvage title 600 would be perfect for that. A liter bike would only be faster in the straights-- and all the fun is in the corners.

  • When i do get my motorcycle i am getting this a 250cc I dont care if you think its a girly bike, I want something that is practical not massive cc nor tiny cc, perfect for me

  • @miniadult12 250 is great. I think if you plan on doing a lot of Interstate/highway miles in America, a 400 or above would be better. It's not that a 250 can't, it just that it's a bit uncomfortable (high revving) and there's not much power left if you need to pull away from a dangerous situation. But for general commuting and fun around town and in the twisties, a 250 is amazing. Also, so cheap to insure and maintain! And great resale value!

  • @lauriejennifer Ok thanks, the looks on this bike are very good

  • Hey i love your bike! Awesome. How old are you?=)

  • @rubern93 Thanks! I don't have it anymore (different bike), but it served me very well! I'm over 25. That's specific enough. :)

  • oh man... i've been wanting to get a bike for over a year now... 20 years old! living with the parents.. I've mentioned it to them and they said over their dead bodies...

what do you think i should do? I've been secretly saving money on the side for my gear alone at the moment... I want a bike fuk!

  • @3months2loseIt Just buy it dude, best thing you will ever do. Then move out from home.

  • @3months2loseIt You know what worked for me, as I am a 20 yr old daughter- tell them you are "depressed" and excitement is the only thing that gets you out of bed XD haha it works... or for me it did. Also, had a wreck 4 weeks later with a vehicle that "didnt see me" and they still letting me ride *DONT let that scare you, it happens!* lol. I'm moving up to a 600 before long <3 Good luck!

  • I wish my parents and all responded that well, especially my mother. As soon as I told her I got a motorcycle, I was pretty much imminently dead to her... as in I will 100% be murdered by a car. Soooo negative.

  • Excuse me how tall are you? 170cm??

  • @Juair17 5'5". Also known as, 165.1cm.

  • @lauriejennifer thks for the info... now i know it suitable for me

  • classic mother. When I brought my R1 home my mom asked when I was selling it

  • That bike was the perfect size for you. Too bad you didn't keep it.

  • @HeavyHitter5150 It didn't suit my needs or riding style nearly as well as my motard.

  • @lauriejennifer You need both. Lol! ; )

  • do ya still have a 250 or ya upgraded yet ?

  • @MrNewyork1975 I now have a 351 supermoto. A walkaround of my current bike is listed in the video responses.

  • How long did you have the bike before you made this long trip?

  • @xxsekoxx I don't remember exactly. I know the break-in maintenance was long past and it was almost time for the 3k service. I think? LOL I don't remember.

  • @lauriejennifer I was just wondering how experienced you were. That is a looong ride! Longer than ive ever gone on my bike.

    Was it tough?

  • @xxsekoxx It was pretty brutal. The li'l Ninja is far too cramped for so many hours in the saddle to be comfortable. I did one worse trip: 8.5 hours on the interstate from Chicago to KC in a straight shot... and the temperature was only in the mid to upper 30s (F). That was brutal.

I'm a glutton for punishment, though. I did 480 miles from KC to Minneapolis in a straight shot on my supermoto. Took 13 hours, all secondary highways and back roads.

  • @lauriejennifer Your not kidding a glutton for punishment! You are one tough lady! Good for you. I just bought my second R6 and started riding again.... cant go long without my hands getting sore! haha I'm hoping to make a trip from CO to CA this summer though.

  • I like the old ladys reaction," boy if I was a couple years younger." get her a scooter!!

  • @hyperutetic My grandma is awesome!

  • Can you reach the floor on your supermotto? cause im about ur size and i was wondering about upgrading

  • @Rustmarine Not terribly well, no. The ground is even farther away now, since the DS tires I put on for the winter are about an inch taller. LOL I have to put the kickstand up and then hop/jump onto the saddle.

  • hahaha, I love the grandma

  • @viperman5686 Me too! I'm kinda partial, though, for obvious reasons. :)

  • Keep it up!!

  • @LOstxmindd Thanks! I did for the most part. Now it's in Ninja Heaven and I've since moved on to supermotos.

  • It's oddly attractive to see girls buy bikes, without (assumedly) any dude pressuring her into it. Doing it for themselves... cheers to that

  • @1stToBeHuman Female riders are the fastest growing demographic in the motorcycle industry. Very few of us are doing so because we're "pressured" into it. If only the industry would keep up! Women's riding gear is sorely lacking.

  • Grandma is old pro biker!! xD

  • @SuperSRBIN96 she secretly has a fireblade stashed away in the garage where she tears up route 66 on sundays hahaha

  • I thought your mom handled it very well, no yelling or crying...... But, the quiet shock spoke volumes....

  • @1475llama Yeah, she is still growing to accept it, years later. Now she's talking about wanting to get a Spyder! Haha... She's not as adventurous as my grandma in some ways.

  • haha, looks like ur mom didnt mind much from wat i saw. my mom thinks these things are death machines its gonna be hard to convince her to lemme buy one o.o

  • @deafrockstars She minded a bit, but I'm an adult. I wouldn't want to alienate her, but I wasn't looking for her permission either.

  • I did the same thing, exept i parked it in the livingroom on my birthday, my mom freaked out :D

  • @rxvh2 Haha! Did you get it on camera?

  • Cant believe how nonchalant your mom was

  • @Thawolf878 This isn't the first time I've "surprised" her with a life choice. You should have seen what I did to my hair just before high school graduation back in the day. Hehe. She was glad I was happy, and grateful I was safe about it. Her trust is something I've worked hard to earn.

  • Nice. I thought your Grandma was going to jump on and take off. Have you still got the bike?

  • @KARSDAY Thanks! My grandma is awesome. She's a riot. No, I have a supermoto now. I have a walkaround of my current bike listed in the video responses.

  • @lauriejennifer Great stuff. Enjoy ! Motorcycles are fantastic. I have 18 but no supermotards (yet that is !) lol ! Stay safe, Cheers !

  • Your mom is a cool customer, not quite the reaction I'd expect from an unknowing mom.

Also props for doing a 9 hr day, riding in the rain, and getting wet on a 250. Alotta posers won't even wash their bike with water, let alone get it or themselves wet while riding.

  • @killer2600 Thanks, mate. 9 hours was brutal. I have only once since then had a day even close to that long. Mom is used to me doing the crazy, unexpected thing. She also knows she can trust me, for the most part. I've been blessed with great parents.

  • the ninja 250 looks so good in those colours

  • @derrarocket Yeah, I fell in love. I came thisclose to getting the red one instead. Glad I didn't.

  • is super cool 83-year-old grandma

  • @alukardFE Grandma is super, super cool. We like to hang out by watching soap operas and eating egg rolls and ice cream.

  • @TheGuitaross Don't talk about my family like that. Don't use the anonymity of the internet to be a cowardly asshole. Be a better human than that. We're all in this together.

  • @lauriejennifer this bike is realy good...i own one and i am very proud...only tyres change and you can go anywhere!!!realy nice!mine is older ( 08') so yours is more beautiful!!!

i like to see woman on 2 wheels!!!any female and male at my family rides!!!

have nice trips with your ninja 250r!!!

  • @lauriejennifer Amen.. tell that fucking punk

  • @Mrliquidsnake1984 Obviously.

  • @shiftingears123 Lulwhut?

  • Just to let you know I think it's great that your riding, and the responses to that douche that said you were 14 made me giggle abit. (manly giggle I swear.) And I wish I was that calm when I picked up my bike after dropping it, I sort of had an anger rush and didn't even switch it off I just yanked it up by the throttle handle and revved it like mad :P This was at 4:30am so there was no one around to help me so I guess the anger rush was a good thing haha.

    Safe riding!

  • Whats ur height, 5"2'?

  • marimacha!

  • Haha she seemed pretty cool with it. Nice colour

  • how old are you like 14 ???

  • @jamster8989 Protip: never ask a lady her age or her weight. Also, I'm old enough to know you're too young to be asking such questions. ;-)

  • @lauriejennifer i am too young i, am 23 is that to young :S proberly older than you lol....

  • @jamster8989 Still younger. You should stop guessing now. ;-)

I am flattered in a way, though.

  • @lauriejennifer alright yh fuck it i give up lol

  • @lauriejennifer so what your getting at is your fat and old?

  • im pretty sure everyone whos says 250s suck dont even have a bike themselves. even experienced riders know that 250s are as fun as fucking.

  • ninja 250....i remember when i was a girl

  • @ganzeytyler You changed gender?

  • @lauriejennifer yea just like you did. im sure you remember when you where a girl too huh? :) let me ask is it hard being a 14 year old boy rather than a 14 year old girl?

  • its only a 250.... Weak

  • @JonnieOnion 250's are a riot. It's like riding a little toy, so lightweight and agile. Cheap to insure, cheap to own, great gas mileage. If you want something with more HP, that's cool too. Ride your own ride. :)

  • Nice one!

  • @dxd828 She was... surprised...

  • the kitchen is to the right,

  • @Tpviper Your right or mine? I'm actually in the kitchen in my latest video. ;-)

  • @lauriejennifer hi the comment i posted was nt meant to derogatory towards you, its good to have women on bikes, safe riding lauriejennifer..............

  • Major kudos to you girl. Do you still have the bike or have you upgraded?

  • @lmind2 Now a KLX351sm. There are updated videos on my channel. Thanks for watching!

  • that was my first bike. very cool! got to love the mpg on it haha

  • I bought my first bike while my mother was on vacation in mexico! shw came home and it was parked in my room.

    "who's is that"

    "the bike?"

    "yes, the MOTORcycle."

    "it's mine?"

"THIS IS WHAT YOU DO WHILE I'M GONE!? You couldn't have had a party like normal kids!?"

  • i wish i could have a motorcycle, but the winters are just awful. know a brand that sells a reverse trike?

  • @dafiltafish Goldwings can be triked and have a reverse. Or, there's the Can-Am Spyder. Or, Google "2moto." You're welcome. ;-)

  • how tall are you?

  • @liltanks1 5'5"

  • Cute video ! Have fun on your bike ;)

  • Damn...granny wanted to ride that shit....hahahaa cool video.

  • We're adults, we pay our own bills, but YES we still listen to what mother says...

  • lol my mom didn't even realize when i bought mine. she thought a friend had left it there. she got a big shock when i got on it and rode away.

  • your mother is awesome haha

  • do me a favor please go back to a 50cc scooter

  • that was so fucken stupid why did u post that thanks for wasting minute and 53 seconds of my life

  • @xxjalenvideozxx ?? Troll, with all your video game videos, I thought you'd be better at this. I hope someday you do get a chance to ride a motorcycle. I think it would be very therapeutic for you.

  • @mulletsrule3388 You must be quite the ladykiller. Between pick up lines like that, and your love for the mullet...

  • @lauriejennifer im married if that counts lol and she knows how to make me happy thats doing the laundry cooking and she behaves

  • @mulletsrule3388 Dude, whats wrong with you??

  • @dimma78 thats were women belong dont u read books

  • @mulletsrule3HA HA no worries you the man.

  • @dimma78 yes men are the masters women serve us thats as simple as it can be put

  • @mulletsrule3388 I wish!

  • @dimma78 well we can hope that some day we can find the trainable one

  • @mulletsrule3388 Mullets are really fucking gay your a homo stupid faggot

  • @MuRKiinCooNz wow i feel loke we are in highschool agian with all the homo comments here ur an idiot man grow up and tell me some real insults

  • @mulletsrule3388 Lol Dude Learn to spell

  • @mulletsrule3388 wow aren't you a nazi from the 1800s

  • @zephy1001 a nazi no a man who knows were his women belong and how they need to act yes

  • @mulletsrule3388 even those years ago before women rightfully got the vote us men had respect for them you clearly dont why don't youtake your extremeist veiws and go back to the cave you crawled from

  • @zephy1001 o you mean the home i own that cave? or ur moms puss cuz thats a big cave too lmfao but no in all reality im better than any woman they are my servents and nothing more

  • @mulletsrule3388 if i ever have the misfortune to meet you watch in between the legs as you wouldn't want something to go missing and your cave i mean a cave a dank dark flea ridden cave where nothing good has ever happened p.s just out of intrest from which country do you originate clearly not this fine country called England people like you should be sent to concentration camps till they get their facts right allso i bet you have only ever been in abusive relationships or none atall

  • @zephy1001 first im a married man and my wife caters to me i dont abuse her she simply knows her place. second idk how u morons live in england but here in the usa we live in houses not caves lmfa.

  • @mulletsrule3388 gee i feel sorry for your wife no freedom bet you even dictate what she wears and we live in large houses made of bricks with open fires in them and that homely feel to them oh and people who are equal lemme guess you live in nebraska with old fasioned morals like that or maybe sin city

  • @zephy1001 try utah retard. and no shes free to wear what she wants and she drives and votes and all the shit like that. shes free to have her own friends she just knows that shes the one that cooks cleans and if i want a beer grab me one a sandwhich make me one not a hard thing to understand

  • @mulletsrule3388 ok you seem set in your ways and remarkably happy and your wife must be fine with it or she wouldn't put up with it i heard its sunny in utah couldn't be more different to here in england

  • @zephy1001 its ok not too bad though it winter and cold as fuck and yes shes happy i just like a woman that gets that its not my job to work all day AND clean and cook and shit i make the money she cleans simple enough

  • @mulletsrule3388 fair nuff i kinda got you wrong i thought you were one of those liabouts with no job who just had their wife running about for them 24/7 your approach is a million miles away from mine but not outragous and its not cold here in winter its just wet

  • @zephy1001 people have that misconception of me some times and its pretty wet here mostly snow when the winter rolls in i love it beautiful place

  • @mulletsrule3388 here in england when it snows it snow's but thats rare usually its a strange kind of rain people round here call drizzle and most the winter here is drizzle but the summer here is what we look foward too as one min its sunny the next there is a storm then a tree catches fire when lightnig hits it

  • @zephy1001 and they can act how the heck they like they wanna ride a motorcycle let them and in your reply you make it sound like you have more than one woman but that is likely

  • @xxjalenvideozxx And u sir, are dick.... lol

  • @xxjalenvideozxx of course she is wearing casual clothes because she just got out of the house you douche. WTF is with that video you uploaded? "Best beat boxer ever" ??? seriously ? My ass is a better beat boxer than you. You have a rug in the window and a TV that is as big as my aquarium and as old as my grandma. You said those things just because you are jealous. If you want a bike, go work for the money and if u just wanna troll then go troll on the Arabs supercars videos.

  • @xxjalenvideozxx what the fuck is wrong with driving in the rain? xD

  • @xxjalenvideozxx her fat ass...you do realize shes the skinny one right....in the orange...fucking idiot.

  • Loved it. Keep it shiny side up

  • Who rides in the rain?

  • @acmoc - I have, though not by choice. A bike isn't going to melt in the rain and neither should the rider. Just like driving a car just need to use a lot more caution while riding in the rain.

  • congratulations !! lol I am in the same situation like u right now and I am telling my mom in a few days lol wish me luck!

  • Hey, we get to see LJ at last!!

  • Thnx for the subtitle maan !!

  • "A couple years younger"? Pfffft. Get her on a bike!! :D

  • nice one laurie! you inspire me! :)
