  • Sleep paralysis is nothing to fear. Its scary at first because its new and you cant move. Its totally normal, happens to everyone each time you go to sleep so you dont act out your dreams (physically). If you relax and focus you will split from your physical body into your astral one and can actually explore another dimension. This is the next step called 'Astral Projection' which is incredible. Normally people are in dreams when SP hits. PM me if you wanna know more/techniques

  • @caitlynpatersonX Look kid; there is normal sleep paralysis which isn't nearly as frightening and then there's induced sleep paralysis caused by demonic entities which can also turn your dreams into nightmares. Don't come on here acting like you know what the fuck is up!

  • excuse me!

just wanna ask., what will i do if i still can't move in 10 seconds even i try very hard? Is it ok to try to sleep again, ignore that you can't move or will it make worst, as not move anymore! Will i die?

  • It has happened to me many times and i just made a video on it "Ghost in my bedroom"

  • @MrVeesworld are you Sure it wasnt Ronald Mc.Donald?

  • This happens to me almost everytime i take a nap during daytime. But its kinda interesting for me, coz i want to get out wen my eyes open up but i cant move shit! But then slowly iv practised to snap out of it. The trick is simple. try moving various parts of your body, like fingers, shoulders, head, ankles, hip, toes and elbows one by one.. You will atleast feel that one part of the above will heed to your will and you can use that to regain control over your whole body.

  • The problem is insufficiency of sleep , fix your schedule.. But now that your having a disorder to pass this time is best to stay calm and positive. In a SP dont struggle , dont try to move or wake the demons dont do shit. Dont think that you will gasp, just flow with the deep wave that puts you on dream or wake ups.

  • Good to see the old Hag well and alive, lol

  • My hag does not look like this one, and she faces the other way on my chest/stomach area.

  • 2:37 best picture of them all i think

  • i have narcolepsy i have this almost every night and day

  • The first time I had sleep paralysis, I didn't even know it existed. So you can imagine how it felt the first time it did happen. I was shit scared to sleep for a few days

  • @MitchMontoya - do you have a list of the artwork you used in your slideshow?

  • coursewareobjects.elsevier.com/objects/elr/ExpertConsult/Kryger/clinicalsleep1e/IC/images/010009.jpg

  • Sleep paralysis is a medical phenomenon caused by activity of an area of your brainstem normally active during REM sleep. This part of the brain paralyzes your skeletal muscles (except your eyes and sphincter muscles) by acting on the anterior horn cells of the spinal cord.

@ MitchMontoya - do you have a list of the artwork you used in your slideshow?

  • i just wokeup i had one just Now!!

  • Is it normal to feel something ferociously biting your leg while you have sleep paralysis?

  • @HardforJesus Yes one experience it felt like something was lifting my foot up and yanking it dont fight it just breath slow and calm down and you will wake right up in fact ?I hear the mroe you fight it the more things you hear feel and see but if you are a thriller fan and want to experience demons at sight then go right ahead and struggle as much as you can GL!

  • i am super intrigued now since it happened to me frightening experience i have read about sleep paralysis and i have heard about a 'reptilian theory on sleep paralysis' where you go through the paralysis and your mind wakes up faster then your body so your body cant exist in the third dimension ("the life or world as you know or we know it") so your body switches to the fourth dimension. I have just recently been reading up on this theory.

  • @norbron Ha what a nonsens. ''Your mind wakes faster then your body'' ? LOL mind does not sleep anyway. In paralysis you mind is awake to begin with at least in most of the cases. In normal sleep your body is paralyst also to prevent you body could be hurt. anyways you can waken before your spirit is back in your body and it gives a real typical sensation wich I had only ones years ago.

  • @DanMetallicaFan You cant breathe? ??

You can learn all about SP - the whole process. You can learn about what happens next if you can let your body fall asleep but keep your awareness.. That is a much more worthy endeavor!! You can learn the techniques to experience SP but much more.

I feel like im selling something here, haha dont mean to. I just wish that more people knew about this its amazing

  • @bstalkers Yes I know you talking about OBE . I've had those many times . floating out of the body..

  • @DanMetallicaFan Sleep paralysis is only the beginning. To experience the astral plane clearly is incredible. I used to have sleep paralysis growing up and it terrified me! But i learnt all about it and it doesnt bother me anymore, its part of the process to astral projection.

I seriously recommend you check out gnostic awakenings (search in google). I learnt all this and have done their free courses. Its the best thing i ever did. Good luck bro

  • @DanMetallicaFan Your totally right. It means that you gain some awareness as your falling asleep, most ppl are already in dreams when it happens.

If it happens instead of fearing it, or trying to break out of it, try to relax with it and you will probably experience splitting sensations (astral body from physical one) then its amazing what you can discover - you wont be paralysed anymore.

Its an opportunity to get into the astral really, which can change your life & how you see it.

  • every time i have Sleep Paralysis and i cant move or even open my mouth i say the lords prayer in my mind it works i get Sleep Paralysis 5 times a week and every time i say the lords prayer i wake up...... plz thumps this up so other people can see this message.... And if any1 has any questions ask me =] thanks

  • Ok guys I have a little solution that helped me and I would love to share. It may not work with everyone but it doesn't hurt to try. You need to buy an eye mask to cover your eyes when you go to sleep. That way if you wake up during sleep paralysis you won't be able to see anything in your room when you open your eyes stopping the hallucinations. I hope this helps if it does let me know! Sweet Dreams... :o)

  • You know it really bothers me that people believe SP demons are real -_- they're hullusinations! And the evil presence that you feel is generated by your brain... This really isn't supernatural. So basicly praying doesn't help one bit. Search it up people.

  • This video just freaked me out,,i never really told anyone about the 4 times this has happened to me,it was so scary.I watched ur video and EVERY single image that was shown i was so shocked bc i have seen and felt every single one.I saw the same creatures that are in your video. The dark shadows, the chains holding me down, the thing sitting on top of me,i couldnt yell for help, this is so scary that u posted this bc i will never forget this stuff. Now i call out for Jesus and it will go away.

  • (continued from above comment) I was diagnosed with Narcelepsy years ago and i was never told about these things happening.Im freaked out bc my last attack w the demon looking creatures was in 1997 and i think about it always. Its weird bc i was just thinking about it 20mins b4 i found ur video.Im ready to Reuke them all in the name of Jesus when they come at me again.Do u still go through this?where did u get the pictures? The same creatures in ur pics i saw allready in my sleep.damm

  • those monsters you said that you saw aren't nothing they are just shadows in your room, you saw that because your physical eyes weren't focused and it morphed them into what you think you saw, also the demonic voices are auditory allucinations, and yes sleep paralysis leads to OBE's.

  • Also, if any of you know what lucid dreaming is, waking sleep paralysis is a good way to get into a lucid dream :)

  • This happens to EVERYONE, EVERY TIME they go to sleep. It happens when you are dreaming so you don't act out what you are doing in your dreams, in real life. It's just a very deep state of relaxation. It's nothing to be scared about :)

  • @MoticeX Is right SP happens everytime you go to sleep. Nothing to fear, your just not used to it.

Ive been studying (and experiencing) for quite a few years. Astral projection is an amazing experience I strongly suggest you learn about it. There are negative entities but you can learn recitations to get rid of them. Calling jesus wont always work. Strongly recommend doing free courses (astral projection ones), search gnostic awakenings in google. Nothing to loose!

  • I found in my experience asking an angel for help or Jesus will stop the SP experience immediately! My most common experience is the choking feeling I get, then I jolt.

  • i've had sleep paralysis and was mentaly attacked by two 'shadow people' who seemed like demons.

i was completely helpless and unable to fight them off and was being mentally tortured for what seemed like forever and then in total desperation I called out to jesus and immediately the beings disappeared.

I was not even a beliver when it happened, I was a total atheist, but this incident caused me to reconsider the existence of god

  • Well i don't know if it was sp or not but i once dreamed or whatever that a woman with horns and tails was enjoying herself on my tool , and when i woke up i found scars on my chest O_O they looked like they were made by some claws...

  • After, I guess I hallucinated the blue light to be drifting away from my window. I was a sweaty mess. I'd like to add that throughout the dream I felt completely numb, and the more I'd try to move the more numb I'd get. When I woke up, I felt a bit numb, not as bad though as it was in the dream.

  • For those saying you wish to experience it, think again. I happened to be dreaming once and suddenly I heard this eerie noise - it sounded like a buzzing bee, but it was far. Then, it started getting closer - close enough that it sounded like a space ship. I saw this huge amount of light shine through my window - it was white and blue. All of sudden I felt something at the side of my bed, something not human. I felt myself being lifted out of bed. Then I woke up.

  • thanks for puting this music !! otherwise i think I wouldn't sleep this night

  • chilling images... if it wasnt for the music i could not watch this.

  • ive had sleep paralysis. it sucks, i struggle to get out of it or sometimes i can feel myself getting it and wake myself up

  • what song is this, fuckin tight track man!

  • thank you for happy music, kinda cause when theres freaky music it gets kinda freaky

  • i have sleep paralysis every single night now every single time i fell back to sleep. im 15 but you just goda deal with it it seems

  • i had this as well, but then i couldn't open my eyes even tho i tried really hard. i could hardly breath cuz there was this thing on top of me and i felt that there was something there just watching me. so damn freakky. dont have it often, but it scares the hell out of me.

  • I had it last night for the first time, im 43 yrs old and it shit the life outa me, im paralized but my brain works fine, the force or pressure on me is not natural, and the more i try to open my eyes the more frightened i get, as im not sure im going to like what over me.

Im a big guy that dont scare easily, this has made me lose sleep and a days money, as i need to keep reading up on what happened..

  • fuck yes!!! this explain why i saw like 3 o 4 time a shadown in my door and after 10 second it disapierd , i was scared that i had a ghost or something like that xD

  • I have sleep paralysis almost every night. I have Narcolepsy and this is a common component of N. I call it being hinged. I have had this since childhood. I am an expert on unhinging. I force my opened eyes to blink real fast and usually I unhinge. I also find that sleeping on my stomach also prevents it. I don't find it exciting, fun or anything else. I hate it.

  • One of the most terrorfying experiences a human can have. Be glad if it doesn't happen to you. l think this can even cause a heart attack to those who'm have a weak heart...

  • @Romulaan oh no, i have had this experience too many times (even last night) and my family has a history of heart trouble, should i be worried?!

  • @saderguy No l don't think so. People who don't know about this phenomenon are so scared, they can even have a stroke. However, since you are already up to date about what 'causes this phenomenon, and the fact that absolutely no harm can be done if you simply wait it out, l don't think you can get that scared anymore. At least your body won't respond that strongly to cause any attacks at all. ;)

  • @Romulaan some people react the same way each time it happens to them, forgetting anything about sleep paralysis, I hope not for me, but some people really CAN get that scared every time.

  • its so wierd

wen I go to sleep I hope for it to happen but when it happens I freak the fuck out every time but the next day, I want it to happen again

  • @pimpo911 HAHAHAHAHAAHHAHA monster sucking dickk... HAHAHA. made me laugh irl

  • @pimpo911 bahahahaha

  • @pimpo911 hahahaha even me dud!! hahaha(^^,)!!

  • @pimpo911 hahhahhahahhahahahha

  • @pimpo911 wtf? i was gettin butt raped by one! lol. Wanna swap demons?

  • @pimpo911 lmao

  • @pimpo911 ROFL!!!!! best remark about sleep paralysis EVAR! lol!!!

  • @pimpo911 its was an incubus, or succubus demon. theyre made just for sex, and for female and male humans.

  • I wish this would happen to me more often. Being terrified is a thrilling experience...sometimes sexually thrilling.

  • i had this this morning, but luckily i didnt sense anything in the room. i remembered watching a documentary about it though and expected to see aliens but it didnt happen. i was completely unable to move except for my eyes. when i felt that i started enjoying the sensation, i got scared about being trapped and made myself go out of it and i woke up. i was lucky and for some bizarre reason, i wish to do it again, but not if its going to be like other peoples experiences.

  • my sleeping paralysis sucked i was 8 years old woke up thought something was by me but i couldnt move i tried to scream but there was nothing i told myself it was all a dream but now know it was reality also

  • the worst sleep paralysis episode I had was when I was younger. I fell asleep on the couch, the tv was on, and nobody was home..I woke up (my eyes opening) but I couldn't open them all the way..I heard this screaching sound in my ear but I couldn't turn to see what it was. I felt a strange feeling in my toes as if someone was chewing on them (lol) it was a knawing sensation..it didn't hurt but it felt like someones teeth were just going to town on my toes..lol

  • I'd go to town on your toes anyday baby. But in all seriousness, i had a sick case of this while at work in the E.R. in my hospital.

  • lol!! wow it happened to you at work? that sucks! and you had all those people around you and nobody to wake you up! I'd be so pissed..

  • yup...would never have taken it seriously, but the fact is, I was completely paralyzed while napping on the desk. No one was around becuz I worked in a triple-secured area of the ER (computer room) and when I awoke there was (swear to God) footsteps circling around me. BUT NO ONE COULD HAVE GOTTEN IN UNLESS I BUZZED THEM IN!! All I could see was the printer in front of me. when I was finally able to start moving my tongue, the footsteps went away slowly.. Scariest shit EVER!!!!

  • i have these like 3 times a night a see a black shadowy figure at my bedroom door then i wiggle my toes and ill be awake in like 10 seconds one time it got all the way up to my bed and and grabbed me that was before i learned about wiggling ur toes this shit freaks me out

  • I had my first one recently. It began scarily enough. A little sensual foreplay, them my waking to the pleasure, the paralysis, the sensed presence of an unknown being, the beginnings of panic. Then I decided to face it as an opportunity. I sensed the presence out of view, checked that I was really awake by looking around the room a couple of times. Closed my eyes and then with my inner eye sought this being. I found it to be a ghostly, non-substantial being. I focused, it fled.

  • @wildbad I had this yesterday, feeling of someone or something close by, the blankets moved a little on my calves like someone pressed down. I decided to take the initiative and close my eyes. I saw a black form wisk over me and cover my face and as this happened I started to feel really scared, and drowsy. I just looked at it square in the face and mentally told it to go away. It came right back over me and I just kept looking at it. It left and the feeling of calmness came and I slept.

  • Great! It seemed to work for me. I was genuinely curious. Keep searching! Ciao

  • Fkin hell, this isnt how it's like at all!!!

You guys have no god damn idea how it scares you, it's beond the point of fear and frightend, it's just hard to understand, i want sombody to explain it to me in person badly.

  • I just happened to type in "Sleep Paralysis" and found this You Tube Video/Comment Section. I'm ashamed to report, this has happened to me since I was 15 yoa. The first time, I was sleeping on my side, and awakened in the middle of the night. I was now awake. I then experienced humming noise (Buzzing / Energy Sound) in my ears, then from behind me came one flash of light as if someone took a picture from behind me in the room. Then...

  • Then... Still on my side, I notice a small cirlcle of light appear on the wall. Similar to the old TV sets that when turned off, the picture would be reduced to a small circle of light the size of a pencil's eraser head. Well, it took a moment, but this circle of light widened, expanding to 4 x 4 inch sqaure, and began running what appeared to be a movie flying over beautiful scenary, like fields of flowers, snowy mountains, water. This lasted for approximately 1 Minute, & was very serene. Well,

  • Well, that's when it happened! The movie then reduced itself back to the small light on the wall, which after a few seconds, disappeared. Then, it felt like someone was holding me down on the bed. I could not move, speak, or scream. All I can do was think and blink my eyes. It would be the last time I would ever see a pleasant and serene movie shown on my wall, but wouldnt be the last time that I felt something holding me down in my bed at night. I Was Horrified!

  • 3 to 4 times a week, and each time it occurred? I knew it was coming, because I'd be woken up, in the middle of the night, the "humming/energy" sound would begin, immediately followed by a flash of light. Before I could jump up and get out of my room, it held me down. Now for all you jokesters, I wasn't raped, injured, or thrown around, just felt like something heavy on top of me holding me down. It was very scary, and felt totally helpless.

  • Same thing happens to me, the humming/buzzing sound, then waking up unable to move. I kind of enjoy it now.

  • Helpless is probably an understatement. This was not a fun or "great experience". There was however a few times where I experienced being lifted strait up, and just few inches off the bed, and only one time where I thought I saw a small figure in my room and shadow figure through the open spaces at the foot of my bedroom door. 99.9 % of the time it was just the feeling of being helpless, and held down.

  • There's so much more to my story, and although the Sleep Paralysis ended when I was 23, it's has occurred only a handful of times since then. I'm a normal person, had a great childhood, pretty much led a normal life. As a kid, I experienced numerous deaths of family members who were ill, and which occurred in a span of a month. Illnesses including cancer, and one tragic death. Also, there's some history of the house I lived in; that house which is still apart of my life today.

  • your experiences seem alot like mine i also when i was younger tho felt as if i was drooped down to my bed i bounced off of it and ive had repeated feelings of this sp and 1 this morning and hadnt had one in a long time before that it sounds like bad spirits or demons coming fom another dimension to me.

  • I recently uncovered a little history of the property, previous owner, historic nature. Regardless, growing up in that house as a kid? I can honestly say that it's haunted. Strangely though, I don't think, that the "haunting/paranormal" things that went on in my house had anything to do with or contributed to "Sleep Paralysis". So, for those wishing they could experience this thing? I say: I wouldn't wish this on anyone! Thank you for listening, I wish you well, and may your God go with you.

  • tip:

When you realize you're in paralysis get rid of the panic quicklly then think happy thoughts.

  • it has happened to me several times.. The first time was horrible , when i found out that it was normal because it was "sleep paralysis " i felt a lot better..

Now I always try to sleep on my side :S

  • I've had sleep paralysis twice now, couldnt move a single muscle, tried to scream for help, didnt work. I heard a weird demonic voice talking in a language I couldnt understand. Was a fucking weird experience.... 2nd time I fought to get out of it and finally managed to rise up and wake up...still i was terrified. I had a OBE once aswell, maybe these things have something to do with eachother?..

  • dont worry the monsters cant do shit just ignore them and if you want to break loose in seconds just move your toes

  • I once heard a strange chanting voice , which sounded like it could of been a demon or devil? It spoke in a strange language that didnt sound human and i couldnt tell if it was male or female. is that what you heard too?

  • @EmmaBorowy

euhm, yeah I guess so. Also, I thought the voice did not come from any particular direction, but it was just there, like in my mind or something.

  • Yes they do, research sleep paralysis and OBE's. Sleep paralysis doesn't have to be scary. It gets scary when you start freaking out or panicking.

  • i had this happen once it was quite frightening but i twisted my neck and my body returned to normal...:P

  • Its beyond a ghost thing

    Its deeper than that,

    Spirits? YES

    but not your common ghost

Its scary if you realize what it actually is

  • I disagree.. I think it's a neurological thing.

  • its nothing to be scared of

  • Umm... When your hallucinating that your body is floating and rapidly spinning around in circles.... Its pretty damn scary.... Just saying...

  • @pinkpunk2193

ya that would scare me too lol

  • I've only had sleep paralysis 2 times that I can remember. First time I saw a couple aliens at the front of my bed talking to eachother but I didn't hear anything, and I managed to start moving again right before they came close to me, and once I moved they just disappeared. Another time more recent was when I was having a nightmare and the grudge boy showed up in my dream. Then I freaked out and woke up, and he was still there beside me and attacked me for like 15 seconds.

  • I have experienced sleep paralysis twice in a month so far, I first experienced it when I moved house, did a bit of research and found it was probably due to the change of home and routine etc. Then it happened again a few weeks later which coincidentally due to the temperature of the new house was the first time I slept . . "Starkers". . . I've learnt not to change my sleep routine or anything about it. Best way really lol.

  • Eat a bunch of chocolate and you're almost garunteed to have SP if you have any history of it. It pushed me to an OBE when I did.

  • i always have sleep paralysis, couple of night ago i had it 27 times in 1 night. the first 1 was a dream i sew a devil looking thing(looked bit like the thing from star wars duno his name) and a little girl!!! iv seen them in 1 of my other sp.

then i was a wake............ just kelp freezing. everytime i tryed 2 move it happened again.

    it was sooo messed up!!!

  • 4 month ago i had sleep paralysis every day for 3 weeks EVERY DAY sometimes i would fall out of my bed and feel "paralysed" on the floor then try to get up but smash the window and break it...sleep paralysis is the shittiest thing

  • how did you get them??

like do you go to sleep tired??what's up with ur life during that time??and what have you been doin everyday at that time....

    stress??tired??just tell me^^

  • Well....The causes of the sleep paralysis

are from Stress, lack of sleep, and different

sleeping time. I've experienced them few times.

  • So it isn't actually a ghost then...right.

  • No. I heard very loud banging on walls....

As soon as I woke up, it stopped.

And I also saw a little shadow appearing

    with sleep paralysis.

    I woke up, it disappeared.

    It's just a hallucination.

  • it can be ive had it and ive never have had sleeping issues or done drugs i sleep normally and ive seen many things in sleep paralysez its hard to explain really. now strees can cause an altered state of mind consucuently you can contact spirtits on a higher plain.

  • I have it EVERY night scence i was 13

  • u are so lucky then...i wanna do it so bad...and every night? im so jealous..

  • How many of you are sleeping alone in a large room? I never had it happen while I was married

  • i sleep alone in a large room. is there a connetion?

  • I'm thinking maybe we are having these sleep disorders because of a lack of security being alone in a large area knowing there is no one around to help you. I slept like a baby when I had my Doberman around lol

  • lol yeah i sleep easier with my little bichon frise ^-^ but i see what you mean makes sense

  • i have had it a few times yet i can still see figures when im wake and moveing??? wtf!! dose anyone elso do that?

  • what you see is images you created burned into your mind. For me, when I break out of that state I can still hear voices for a few milliseconds.

  • been happening in most of my life,

    but

never really had bad or evil things go on when doing this

first 20 times or so were kinda scary at first with the beating of a drum you can feel almost better than you can hear-

but once that goes, everything is always amazing

  • can you share a good experience with me?

  • that's how i battle this monster in my pas and god has save me all this time, remember this monster wants your soul it can kill you or it can destroy your life

  • fsffsfds

  • This happened to me several times as a child. However, as an adult, I often wake up to the sensation that my body is moving spiritually but not physically. Occasionally it coincides with a waking dream in which I am convinced someone is in my room but when I wake fully, there is no one there.

  • Cool- Some good commens too!

  • Has anyone experienced being tossed around ones room while this is happening?...lol

  • Uh ... yeah, big time. That is the worst part.

  • Fucking idiot this doesn't involve ghosts.

  • but if this is just a dream how come we all see the same things always the feet touch same shadows and somehow say jesus but not out loud only in our mind it must be out of body our soul gos somewhere maybe a message from what yet we don't know i,m always touched by something and i tell you this i,ve seen colours that is not of this earth has anyone else seen the colours

  • well when this happens to me all i gotta do is think about nothing then nothing happens, it just shows you what you fear if you think about what you fear, and couse of the bible and horror movies many people fear the same.

  • thank you for your reply does it happen a lot to you and have you seen anything?

  • it has happen like 5 times to me, the fist time i saw a white creature in my doorway.

  • happens every night ...i close my eyes cuz its scarer to see the halluicnations while you are looking arounf the room cuz itz so real

  • The reason praying to Jesus works is because you BELIEVE that praying to Jesus WILL work. You can stop being afraid and make the demonic visions and whatnot stop on your own. You just have to make the decision to stop being afraid of the experience. Your resistance to it is what makes it so scary. When you realize that it can't hurt you, its no longer an uncomfortable thing. You can use SP to transition into out of body experiences and lucid dreams. check out my videos for more info.

  • I don't believe in the dreaming theory, cuz if that was the case I wouldn't be totally aware of my surroundings..I wouldn't be able to see the dog walk across the room, or hear my niece talking in the next room...You try to call for help but no sound comes out, and what explains the "presence" you feel..and it isn't a nice one...and I swear one time whatever i was sensing touched me...and when it did i felt like i was getting shocked..like when you touch a bare wire right where i was touched

  • I know that feeling. I suffer from this at least three times a week. The first few times it was horrible but even now that I am use to it I have to have a light on. Once I felt a presence of three hovering over me and I was awake and able to see everything around me. They grabbed my tongue and it felt as if electricity was running through my body. With no words I was told to write their names down and worship them. I don't deny that what I experience may have

  • something to do with what I am exposed to during the day but I won't except it as undeniable truth. There have been times when I am paralyzed but am able to move my arms which are a blur of energy and not my real arms.

  • what do you think or believe it is ???because i know what ya mean..

  • vocalshik

seeing those types of things during the night is often the effect of sudden awakening in the middle of deep sleep. when you are sleeping, your brain releases a chemical that keeps your body from moving (so you don't act out your dreams) if you wake up too suddenly, you will not be able to move for a little while. as for the frightening images, that could be because you're still seeing what was in your dreams. it's very scary because it looks and feels extremely real.

  • Omg don't show me that! Now im gonna be more scared when i have SP!

  • this may be a bit of a news flash to you but, you're supposed to be scared when having SP episode. if you're not scared, you're probably not going through this.

  • that's not true. Sometimes sleep paralysis can be quite pleasant. I once had a hallucination, during SP, of an angel stood beside me, shooting darts of multi-coloured light around my room, and my whole body was warm and tingly. That was a one off though, usually it is painful and horrific.

  • Wen I experienced this i was shit scared. I didn't realise it was quite a widespread thing. Its been interesting reading about other peoples experiences of sleep paralysis

  • Oh dear god i hope this doesnt happend to me. Sleep Paralysis is usally because of strees. Evertime i deal with stress which is like half my life and am only 13, i just usally have bad dreams like really really bad dream):

  • i had it first when i was 13 so beware lol just dont take unorganized naps and dont sleep with uor face down...or u will get it..and when u do ...never open your eyes or u gonna see some missed up shit..lol hope thats help

  • wtf!?!?!? I do take unorganized naps and i do sleep with my face down..... :( I am so fucked!!!

  • no sorry i meant sleeping on your back cause you this shit

  • its both

  • Night terrors leave you wondering if you are crazy. I don't get them often, but the last one haunted me for months, everytime I tried to sleep, I had this eerie feeling, like it was waiting. It spoke to me, no, taunted me. Laughed at my helplessness and hissed "go ahead, try to move, try to scream" The voice was not something I could have invented, it was so real. When I finally woke up, Mom screamed, she had a nightmare at the same time. It was 3:00 AM Witching Hour!

    Cue twilight zone tune

  • the picture at 1:20 is what i experience. it's scary man but just call on Jesus, but the scary part is that sometimes you can't call on jesus but just try and you will

  • What could be scary for me would be to see jesus appear during a sleep paralysis hahaha... Just wanted to say something else, is that all the scary things that you can see during sp are part of your own convictions, if you don't believe in anything, maybe you'll see Mickey Mouse.

  • Right on. Listen to this guy.

  • a great video that, i think, portrays alot of the same experiences, that i, and many others have gone through. i know that some of my episodes with sleep paralysis are my mind awakening before my body and all that sciency stuff. but i am absolutely convinced that a good portion is spiritual. i guess i'm a 'sensitive' to energy, and these spirtual episodes are always different from the others. it happens when i go to sleep, not when i wake up, i can always feel somthing in my room before hand.

  • I hate it.. I can hear everything that's going on around me but cannot move at all. Sometimes, I can snap out of it by trying to take deeper breaths each time I breath in, which is the only thing I have any kind of control over. It only happens when I sleep on my back though.. never on my stomach.

  • Looking at things from a spiritual perspective, I can tell you it is utterly demonic. Start praying about it. 2009 is spiritually foretold as a year of massive demonic manifestations, so these things are going to become more and more commonplace, I'm afraid.

God bless each and every one of you who is suffering, and keep you safe.

  • it has to do with REM and halucinations. if it didn't we'd all have the same halucinations.

  • alot of us do have the same hallucination the witch and the reaper i have had it happen to me asswel as one of my friends has also . i used to be an atheist from a very young age but ive seen things that have changed my mind i now could say that most atheist have never really gone through much in there lives but teen anxt.

  • Has happened to me twice, both times I was fully conscious but could not move, or speak. I could feel cold wind and something whispering close to my ears. Both times I said a prayer that my mom told me it makes it all go away and it did instantly! The prayer is different in Greek (i come from Greece) but goes like this "Jesus Christ wins, and scatters all evil". In Greece we call sleep paralysis Mora, and suposeddly an evil spirit is after your soul while you're sleeping.
