@korvix You will see him lift in the Animal Pak CAGE next weekend at the Arnold Expo. They are streaming it live online at the Animal Pak Facebook page.
Dudes, deadlift is the NUMBER ONE exercise to measure the whole body strength. Of course this strength can transfer to other fitness related performance as well. This dude has the sickest weight - bodyweight ratio out there, holy shit.
I love how you can't even watch a video of someone doing a strength feat on youtube without somebody posting "OMG HE WOULD KILL IN MMA". Hipster fags that probably aren't even real mma fans either.
I'm really confused about the size of this guy. His strength is massive, so how come he is so much leaner than the buff 200 pounders found in most gyms who can barely put up the same lift. does this mean deadlifting is not a good muscle building exercise :-o. I notice that he deadlifts heavy weight for reps in another video. my understanding was that the the 8-12 rep range builds mass, so how the Hell has he gotten so strong without putting on the mass? i'm really confused here.
@xAznnique ... watch the other video of him training 500 or so for 10 reps. How is that training for strength? This guy is getting 8+ reps on heavy weights and still has virtually no mass to show it. deadlifts are hailed as huge muscle building lift I think this guy debunks the myth. If i told you I had a friend who could deadlift 500lbs for 10 reps, you'd imagine somone3x his size, i'm saying this guy seems show that DL alone wont promote growth in entire body
@mboyemanster Have u ever consider he probably MAINLY trains with 1 to 5 reps? just cuz powerlifter do 1 to 5 reps for power doesn't mean every now & then they don't do 6 to 12 reps to change things up a little bit. And what myth? that was never myth that's a fact that dead lift builds huge muscle DEPENDING on what your calorie intake is and the rep range you mainly train for.
And all power lifters do 6 to 12 reps before going heavy as fuck for 1 to 5 reps. No one starts with super heavy weight.
@xAznnique have you considered it really doesnt matter what rep range that he trains w necessarily? as one of the greats louie simmons said "you dont necessarily need to get bigger, you just need to get stronger,". in other words it's actually how fast you can move the weight, how much rate of force you can generate. bruce lee said it best "23' arms are great so long as you can convert their mass to strength". this coming from a man that at his highest was 140#s and made a 300# bag slap ceiling
@tdgarguile yes it does matter what rep range you train with cause your body reacts differently to rep ranges .. generally 6 - 12 = size, 1 - 5 = power over 15+ i consider endurance. If you want to lift heavy as fuck for 1 rep your not going to train with high rep your mainly going to train with 1 to 5 reps, And I never said anything about having to be big to get stronger. And power = speed/fast + strength so yes you need to generally train with 1 to 5 reps for power.
@latchbox and how in the hell does deadlifting 600 pounds transition to punching, wrestling cardio and MMA? You sir are an absolute idiot. But that deadlift was sick
Awesome vids. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakin' huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.

@mboyemanster he probably trains 1 to 5 reps, that training is for power not size its to recruit as much muscle fiber as possible for the lift.
