i have the presario CQ60 that shipped with vista and i must say that it is a great laptop for what your paying... it's no so much a gamer in todays era but for the average computer user it is more than enough!! and looks stunning in my oppinion :)

If you're happy with it, that's great. I just think it's a shame being into PC gaming (even if it's only casually) and then missing out getting even only halfway decent specs to run games on anything above the bare-bones minimum graphics settings. How pretty a game looks does add tons to the gameplay, you should try gaming on a dedicated gaming rig once, think you'll never go back to that puny little thing you use currently :)

I like compaq laptop except for the heat issue, I used to have one a year or so ago (sold it to pay bills) and the bottom would get really hot.
