its attached to that lil thingy.. but still there's no light.. but the keypad and other parts light up.. except for the lcd.. ;c i remember after attaching and locking it in place, after awhile its pulled out already, is it possible that it teared up?

@kAyetOoth make sure the wire strip it all the way in the socket~ even if the lcd is damaged it should light up so yours propaby isnt hooked up all the way

@shekkone its just a plastic prying tool. not really necessary but i used it just because its more convenient. a flathead would do too but you might risk scratching or damdaging something

@ableite foam? and quality wise.... id say crap but its pretty decent. light shines through at some places and no the front cover isnt metal.... all of it is cheap china plastic! yay! lol and i bought this a while back so i dunno who the seller is but you can find it.. just type in like "nokia n95 white housing" or something n a crapload should pop up

becarful with mic it won't come off that easily....and the hard thing of all is changing the upper slide's lower plate which have lots of circuitry in it and its a good chance that you kill one of the circuit........i myself left it alone because the circuits did'nt come off that easy...

i am not talking about changing keypad,i am talking about changing housing.you just need to use a tool or fingernail to separate the keypad from the downward side it will come out(trust me i does) then you can remove the screws and pull out the lower assembly....it contains two things.....

i have moded the gps anteena with a small copper wire with which i can lock on my positon in mere few seconds!!

you can make it better by updating firmware of the phone and using 3rd party softwares like google maps and other navigation softwares.but i suggest that hardware modding is nit a good idea.the latest firmware is 31.0.15 i think.

Great vid azn1221. I've just ordered the white housing on ebay with all the tools. Gona give it a shot. The only thing really tricky is how to replace the bottom white piece, where you have to take the whole phone apart. Any tips or vids on how to replace the sticker wire and mic will help. Also, any idea how to change the camera lens covers? thanks
