Depends on the seat, of course, but they can come on special as cheap as $20. We usually go for the $75-$100 mid-section stuff. I'm actually on the other side of the state, but I try to get to at least 5 games a year.

Well, I didn't. I just grabbed it off of google, but it doesn't look that difficult if you have photoshop.

What I would do:

1) Pull the sprites out

2) Do a gray gradient from bottom to top on a a black background

3) Put the sprites in

4) Copy the sprite into another layer, invert them, put the feet together, and lower the opacity until it looks like a reflection

5) There's tons of ways to do that shadow effect

Well, it depends on the scene, but mostly it's a combination of Photoshop and Flash or After Effects depending on how complex it is. There are just some things that Flash isn't set up for because it's not a video program, but it can be nice for the cartoony style graphics.

Plus, I'm not that experienced with After Effects and Premiere and I've been with Flash for years, so it's just natural for me. But it's all Adobe now anyway, so it's all pretty interchangable.
