Just got mine installed. Got a video up but the sound was not accurate after i posted it. What did you use to record? Yours is just right! Nice vid man.
I just heard yours and it doesnt sound too bad, its the way your camera is recording audio is why it may sound inaccurate. I used a Canon Powershot A540 for that video. Try another camera and see if that helps.

@GMan309 Thanks for the comment... Its not too much for a daily driver. I have a vert which makes a little less drone than a coupe since the passenger compartment is more isolated. But a manual tranny helps out a bit because you can change gears when you want.

In this video its just the axle back borla stingers... The car comes stock in '08 with an x-pipe. I have another video on my page after installing american racing headers high flow cats using this same axle back stingers.
Your welcome... The BB are similar to the stingers but they have a bit more raucous tone to them. Both are excellent choices, its a matter of preference.
There is a little drone around the 1500rpm (5th gear mostly) spot. I dont fine it too much as most people bitch about. Maybe its because I have a vert which transmits less noise in the passenger compartment than a coupe. I dont mind any drone since its a reminder of the bad ass car I am driving!!!
I paid $1100 (shipped) for my stingers 2 years ago, now they seem to be a tad bit more. If you can get them cheaper by all means go for it. I think they are a bit overpriced myself but not much we can do about that. What and where did you find them for 700?
are there other exhausts you can put on other than borla? ive looked around on the internet and i was only able to find exhausts for corvette on borla website
There is Corsa, B & B, Magnaflow, SLP, Flowmasters, and GM even makes an aggressive type GCA (Genuine Corvette Accessory) muffler (they resemble the stingers a bit in sound).
The stingers, mags, and flowmasters all have a simialr tone but do vary a bit. The B&B has a more raucous and aggressive note (in person they sound extremely mean). The Corsa has a less bass and more european sound which in my opinion isnt what a corvette should sound like.
Sounds great mate! I have B&B Bullets on my Vette (check out the vid :-) The Stingers have a more exotic sound to me, while Bullets sound more muscle. I was so torn between the 2, but ended up getting the stingers.

The bullets are similar, but they are a bit louder than the stingers. But now I am finding myself wanting my car a lil louder now also. So I am gonna get the LG headers (should increase the sound a bit). I am gonna check out your vid now!
Why make an american car sound like it comes from europe? I may as well rip the vette logo off of the front nose and slap a 911 badge on it! Corsas sound too euro, nice sound but not for me. I like the stingers better.
Sounds like a typical borla, flomaster, magnaflow etc. Now all you need is the mullet to match the exhaust tone of your car, you shoud have gotten Corsa.
Congrats! I have 'em on my '07 LS2! Though, on a LS3 you could have also opted for the performance exhaust which I hear is pretty good, but let's face it the Borlas are better! Have fun, drive safe & ENJOY!
