You that the American Bass VFL Extreme is the same woofer as the Atomic APXX. The VFL Extreme/APXX has one of the strongest Voice Coils in the world. I had a APXX and he was laughing about 3 KW on music.
Yeah a friend said that to until we listened to it for a 1/2 hour. it barely takes its rms rating of 1500 def not a 3000rms sub so dont try it. needless to say it blew and now i have a loaded btl 18.
The motor is not the same retart. i believe you could with the apxx but not this particular woofer. The woofer was in the proper enclosure also. case closed

Than you didn't have the right enclosure. I gave my old APXX 15" 3200 WRMS for music and the voice coils never smelled

that woofer couldn't even handle its rms rating. dc sounds level 4 xl 15 should be alot louder.
