@cookie223100 It's the number of frets to play on the fingerboard. You see the little boxes on the neck of the guitar? Those are what you press down on. Where there is a 5 on the line there, you press down on the fifth box on the neck., Hope that helps. :)

Did anyone notice how ripped from power rangers this is? The chord progression right before the dead notes start is exactly the same. C whole, D whole, B whole, E half, D half, C whole. Same timing, same key, same progression.

@fankyfashionmonkey The first pair of numbers (5/3) is a C powerchord on the 3rd fret. Directly after is a D powerchord on the 5th fret (7/5). After that is a B powerchord, 2nd fret (4/2). Next powerchord is E (9/7), followed by D, and then C. Then go back to the D. Lastly E with a funky strum pattern and dead notes. Repeat, except instead of playing the C powerchord while descending, you play an A instead, followed by a B instead of a D.

Note: All these chords are on the A and D strings (4&5).

@fankyfashionmonkey That's for the first part. The second part is just the same E as before, followed by an F (10/8). The rest is strum pattern. The third part is just E with dead notes. The fourth part is...the second part? E and F again. I can't give you chords for the solo for obvious reasons. If you want, I can tell you the notes.

p.s. not to be an asshole or anything..but it seems if you dont know how to palm mute, this is song is probally too hard for you. try learning the basics first ......just saying

So on 3:44 for example, 9 should ring out for 6 beats then it goes on to 7--9--.
